I don't like modded incest too but some people do. I think the way it's now (foster M/S B/S others true S/S MOD: true M/S B/S) it's the best one. There is no need to change.

People who like modded incest know, at least they should, that the mod will never work 100% cause the story wasn't designed for it.

BTW there is an open discussion about the new tag system. I've made a comment regarding the incest tags and one of them is for the fan-made mods. Let's see what tags they will decide to use.

Thanks to mentioning the new tag system discussion thread by F95Zone staff. My suggestion different than yours, I just want them to increase the numbers of incest tags with obvious tags like in this thread. What's the point to tweaking the tags, if in the end, people back into this thread because the official site tags don't explain anything.

A few of my favourites that haven't been mentioned yet:

Itsumama 2 - if you don't mind Japanese nukige, this is one of the best M/S games I've played, and I can't recommend it enough.

The Spellbook - Unlike the previous one this one isn't purely about M/S, but the M/S content is some of the hottest I've encountered. The writing can be a bit rough, but the game looks amazing.

Away From Home - A great game in general, especially if you like milfs, and with perhaps the best mom in any VN.

Power Vacuum - A sandbox with lots of LIs, including a lactating mommy.

Shut up and Dance - I consider this to be one of the quintessential M/S games.

I hope there are a few in there you haven't tried yet, and if there are, enjoy!

Thanks so much for your recommendations! Once again, sorry for being a bother. Plenty of these I haven't tried yet (just man of the house and once in a lifetime I think, but the latter not all that much since it seemed too focused on the sisters) so I will eagerly dive in.

The Staff clearly said that they will not create thousands of tags like VNDB. that's why I suggested a more condensed number of tags that together can cover the vast majority of interests.

Tags are not designed to cover every possible eventuality, as tags are only useful if they're actually used. For this reason, we won't be implementing custom tagging or having an insane amount of tags like VNDB. Please bear this in mind when suggesting changes.

For instance, the example you mention about stepping into Gay-Incest because of the sibling's tag will not happen because of the gay tag. So if you are looking for a straight brother/sister use the tags malemc+siblings. If you are looking for a brother/brother use male mc+siblings+gay. I know is not perfect but it's in the direction of what the staff is looking for. A combination of tags that could help you locate what you looking for without the need to create another tag.

If it's clear that the developer never intended it to go that way and only a fan based mod makes it possible, why tagging it as if?

Because some people like it and don't bother if is not 100% accurate. That's why we created the MOD tag.

MOD - unofficial modification for the sake of adding incest to a game. Probably ruining the plot, the game itself, or can be outdated

TLDR, F95Zone search engine will be updated with the new tag system. For the incest content, we might get better tagging for it. Incest tag still the same, but there will be added multiple tags for specific content.

aunt/uncle = A/NP, U/NP, A/NC, U/NC
cousins = FC, MC
granparents = GM/GS, GF/GD, GS/GD, GF/GS
parent = M/S, F/D
siblings = B/S, B/B, S/S

Sadly there will be no true, step & foster tag ... so far. Staff very adamant for it. While they offering new tagging system, they don't want it's get too bloated.

So when we search in F95Zone search engine in the future, first input Incest tag, then add above tag for specific content.
Incest + parent = only showing incest games with M/S & F/D content.

Shame, this is the feature I wanted to see in those tag enhancements, revamps or whatever they called it. There are way too many "incest" games where family members are aren't related at all. Clones, adopted-shit or fuck knows what. Just like in Savior, for example. It would be easier to filter them out, leaving only those where incest or taboo is actually present. Maybe it will be added in the future.

I saw it, but it's not like I can add much to it. Incest not only has multiple variations by itself, but due to prohibitions, various derivatives have become popular, like stepcest, foster, and, as we know, it can also include half siblings, which just multiplies already existing relationships by 2-3 times. Some games have the option to define the desired relationship, so you will probably have to add two (or more) different incest tags while having only one incest character. It's just impossible to determine exact relationships in the current state of events without tens of tags for every case. This is also one of the reasons this thread exists.

yeah, when my suggestion got rejected right away, it doesn't bother me that much since we got this thread.
