I understand Patreon less and less, to be honest I don't even want to understand it since I haven't used that shit in a long time.

I agree with Uturiel, the developer who still persists with this Patreon shit better fuck off.

And Patreon took down another game, WIAB from Ocean. He had over 500 patrons there. At least he still has SG's Patreon. He also has both games launching on Steam, which seems to be the best place for developers to launch their games and get enough return to keep them going since Subscribestar, and the other platforms don't have enough traction.

Onlyfans don't allow incest either. It's neither Patreon, Steam nor Onlyfans fault that incest and other fetishes are forbidden, it's the payment processor, especially Mastercard. Subscribestar is the only platform I know that allows basic anything, like Patreon was a few years ago. The only problem is that many people don't trust Subscribestar since they don't have Paypal or Stripe, and sometimes have issues with credit cards.

I'm not the biggest fan of steam, but I do wish indie devs luck.

I don't really use paypal that often myself and never really had much issue with an of the games i follow on Subscribestar.
But yeah, it might help if they added the option.

That said, I have seen a few more devs open up subscribestar options, so that's a plus.

Like it or not, it's a business decision. Porn accounts for the vast majority of chargebacks on credit cards. They dislike porn unless it's being supplied by some huge entity that returns vast sums to help make up the shortfall. The likes of Patreon are minnows in shark infested waters.

Credit card companies don't like porn sites because men act like their card got stolen when their wifes catch them buying porn.
They then have to do chargebacks and all that shit.
So no company will fill that void
