Yeah that is indeed something that should be done. Tested it.
When you dont do the sync the game dialogue goes from1 to infinity and beyond faster than you can blink.
That is a bug that should not exist at this stage of the game.
The saves also have issues.
Progression keeps getting interrupted by game freezes and crashes every 5 minutes. It's a mess.
And it is a shame because I found the whole premise interesting. I tried and entire afternoon to get this to work properly so that i could play at least 1 chapter start to finish. But alas it was not to be.

If you also have a high refresh rate monitor like i do, the only solution is to set your refresh rate to 60 Hz before launching the game. Otherwise, my game keeps freezing every 3 to 5 mins as well. This is something related to the game’s engine.

Yep, I had the same issue back when I first tried this game.

fix your engine first.
than make a game.

Yeah the game is so badly put together its not funny anymore.

He should concentrate on getting the game to work 99% of the time before moving forward.
I understand it has an alpha version tag but at this point we are on "chaper 4" and the game should not have such problems. Also the severe lack of any meaningfull content and the slow updates make it a no go for most people.

Fix the game and then proceed with the rest. Also add so reasonable content to the game.

So far, i had reported four bugs with this update and the bugfix patch has fixed all of them. Of course, I’m not saying the game is completely bug-free now but at least it shows that even if the developer isn’t active around here, he’s still aware of what’s being discussed.

If the developer wants to get more information about the high refresh rate monitor issue, he can also check this thread. There are also some potential fixes he could implement in the game.
