Anyone know how to get rid of these pinkish purple streaks on Koharu's hair? They only show up with fair hair colors but I've tried everything I could figure, changed every slider in Material Editor, tried switching out shaders and textures, hiding certain parts, nothing seems to make those colored streaks go away.

did you try unchecking Auto Setroot and tip colors

can you add an overlay to a character inside of studio or just the maker?

You can but they are some finnicky stuff to consider like faces are only overlay afaik, and no underlays via Material Editor Maintex

Thanks for the suggestion, I have tried this but with no change. It seems that entire section of hair on both sides of the head is stuck that way and can only be edited as one color. I exported the texture and even that has the pink streaks, is there a way to remove them from the texture that doesn't require deep technical knowledge?

- Export the tga/dds of the hair texture with sb3ugui
- Open the texture in photshop
- Filter black and white
- Save again in tga 32bit (which retain the alpha ch) or dds (if u know the settings)
- Put back the edited texture through sb3ugui with the replace button

Is there a way to do this without photoshop? I don't have it. I've tried every free black and white filter I can find but none of them preserve the transparency along the edge of the hair.

Whew I got it done with paint.net, now I see why you said to convert it to tga, that preserves the transparency when black and white is applied. Thanks a lot for the help.

For anyone who wants light hair on Koharu without the pink streaks here is the texture. Lead it through Material Editor, find the last batch of textures near the bottom and change MainTex to this .png.

Guys, does anyone have a detailed guide on (modding for the steam version), I’m just looking for how to install it, but it’s simply unrealistic, I’ve already read and scrolled through so many sites that my head is starting to hurt

I don't know, the problem is that there are two links to the mod or something like that, and the problem is with the definition, I don't know if they will work or not, since this is my first time installing this game, it is not configurable through mod managers, how to modify it, I have no idea

The HF patch isn't a mod, it's a collection of mods. It's 23 GB but you can choose what to install and you will need to use something like qbittorrent to get it. After that it is just a matter of running the exe really.

The steam version is just the English translated base game without any mods or studio, something to keep in mind if you want to make your own scenes you can't with the steam version. The repack is the base game with a shit load of pre-installed mods and studio.

If you are talking about the optional sideloader then you only need it for studio, which you wouldn't with the steam version. The repack and sideloader pack are upwards of 300 GB altogether but your options are vast. The HF patch will add the essential mods to the steam version. Things like the uncensor mod.

I've got a problem. I downloaded Steam version and applied HF patch 2.13 over it, and some clothing mods. But whenever I start an H scene, the character's skin in dialogues turn blue, there is a male character in T pose behind the character and when I continue, I get a white screen.

Characters in lobby also have this blue tinted screen. So what's the problem here? How do I fix it?
