That only disables the mod, it does nothing for the shaders used in the card. The mod itself doesn't to anything to the shaders automatically. Whoever shared the card set it up to use nextgen. They need SSS to work so it's either GraphicsMod or a modified DHH with SSS. They just need to save the character card again after the changes and reload it with the new shaders that aren't nextgen.
Mention about "automatically", there is a new plugins that Hanmen made, it's called Next-Gen Shader Helper.
Basically this plugin make all shader in your folder "automatically" using NGS, IF you enable the Swab Mode in plugin settings.
And Yes you can edit which character you want to use, but it's a hassle.
mostly people will accidentally will use Next-Gen Shader Helper mod, because it was included inside Next-Gen Eye 2.5 folder.
That is why in my previous post with Sylphyy:
if you use Next-Gen Shader Helper you need to set the plugin setting like this, to prevent unwanted issues.
I myself only use Next-Gen Shader Helper only so that i can use Next-Gen Eyes 2.5.
Because without using Next-Gen Shader Helper, you will get black eye when using Next-Gen Eyes 2.5.
Or if you want to be sure, disable Next-Gen Shader Helper & Next-Gen Eyes 2.5 from KK manager,
or deleted Next-Gen Shader Helper from your folder, it will remove the "automatically NGS" effect from your game.
Delete also Next-Gen Eyes 2.5 or use previous version of Next-Gen Eyes.
