goddamit can anyone help me finding mods or how to enable missing mod notifications im missing a lot of mods like bayonetta, zelda hair etc
i dont know where to look bc game doesnt tell me names of which ones are missing
Do you have 'HSResolveMoreSlotID' installed?, You should be able to use 'HSResolveMoreSlotID' to find which ones are missing.
Open it and select the 'Char Cards' Tab, find your character and click any links to D/L Missing assets. Apologies if you already know this.
PS:- Check for ModList updates first in the bottom left corner.
Tip:- When I install new mods, if there are any conflicts I manually change the ID's of the newly installed Mods so not to break any of my scenes or charaacters. (There are few exceptions... for example Xyth24 characters). I have never used Auto Resolve to avoid breaking scenes.
Use the 'Known Mod List' tab to download any missing mods from the master mod list or enter something in the search window to find something you fancy.
HSResolveMoreSlotID Tabs - Basic Version
'Character Items' - can search your installed character items and resolve any issues. (Hair, Face textures, Accessories, Clothes, Shoes ect...)
'Neo Items' - Search mods installed for Studio Neo and resolve any issues. (Maps, Items, Effects, Accessories, Skyboxes etc...)
'Char Cards' - Your Installed Characters. Can see if you are missing Hairs, Accessories, Textures, Clothes for selected character. I will come here if character is not right in the game and check for missing/misaligned mods.
'Scene Cards' - View your scenes here and resolve any conflicts in much the same way as 'Char Cards' tab
Clipboard Cards & Mod Folders - Never used. Install all my Mods in 'abdata' folder. Mod Folder allows you to use custom folder if you wish.
'Known Mod List' Master list for 90% of mods available for HS1. Currently stands for me about 900GB.
Green highlight over the mod text means it's installed correctly and up to date.
Light Green means it's installed but out of date.
Red mean's it's missing a Unity file or Textures or you renamed some of the original files yourself.
'Installation checker' - Checks for corrected installation setup. Enable and Disable Plugins for HS1
'Settings' Tab -Never used. TIP:- I always map my HS1 installation to the same drive letter to be sure installation checker lists no issues.
Backup the HS1 installation on another drive when you have made a lot of changes. No need to reinstall, just copy folder to another HDD/MicroSD and mount to same drive.
When I install Mods, I extract to HS1 installation folder (abdata)... and no more than 10 at a time. Then I run 'HSResolveMoreSlotID', then check the 'Char Items' Tab & the 'Neo Items' Tab. I Resolve any issues that I find by altering the
ID's of the Mods I just installed only... not old ones installed earlier. Once done I then hit Save.
Copy the original mod zip file to another drive to allow you to reinstall a mod if it breaks.
TIP:- Any foreign worded mods can be renamed into English by using Google Translate allowing them to be search more easily in StudioNeo. Renaming Mods has not broken any of my scenes as it uses ModID's.
