I liked this a lot. While I enjoyed GGGB for the most part, the sandbox nature was not, I thought, well-suited to this kind of game. This game's plot-based approach makes decisions more meaningful, because the player has a good idea of the consequences of the decisions (unlike GGGB, where it was often just a guess between similar-sounding choices). The people whining about his being a ripoff of GGGB because it uses the same techniques and sometimes the same original pictures understand nothing about intellectual property. EK and this author own the rights to their story and any art they draw by hand, but traced art isn't their property (though they can use it freely).
The writing in this is good, the story is good, and the art (while rough in places) serves its purpose. Innocent girl getting tangled up with the mob is a classic of the genre. A plot twist I'd like to see would be for Enzo (or one of his cronies) getting what they think is dirt on her (maybe they find the special software on her phone) and she has to either give in to some blackmail or abandon her mission (which would, ideally, become so important that she'd do a lot to avoid abandoning it).
Looking forward to the next release and, if on time, will support the author's patreon.
