totally agree lol, looks really good aside from the vermin, ill keep my eye on this one and hope the creator decides to do the right thing regarding that creature

That faux lo-fi pixel art kinda irks me. It's super low-res pixelated line art combined with an anachronisticly high density color palette. Part of that whole lo-fi ascetic is working with a limited palette (e.g. the 256-color VGA standard), so that changes in color gradient are very noticeable. You should be able to notice the pixilation, because the change in color should be more of a jump with a more stark contrast. Having hundreds of shades and tints of each color just undermines the whole lo-fi ascetic. If you're already doing an id Tech 1/Build Engine knock off, just commit to the bit.

By the way, you can cheese the two minotaurs at the gate in the beginning. You can hit them while still being just out of their aggro range, and they'll sit there until they die. There's no secret or anything special for doing so, however.

Found a little bug, you can press f then m1 to cancel the cooldown; repeat super-fast, and it makes every fight stupid easy. other than that, it looks pretty cool.

I'm transforming meshes' vertices in vertex shader with translation matrices and using alpha components of colors as z-buffer.
