Anyone know if the developer is considering doing away with the fullscreen only part of this game? I unfortunately don't have a powerful enough GPU to handle Unity or Unreal 3D games that don't let you display them in a window at a lower resolution, at least not so long as it's loaded in a significant amount of models. Frame rate goes up for me whenever I open the Journal, for example, since it displays a single 3D model in a black void.
If the component is there just to play up the horror aspect of the game, hopefully someone lets the developer know that not very many things are spooky at low framerates. If there's some other reason, then oh well.

As of now I am just hoping the game isn't dead I check every other day to see if progress is made but the community on the patreon site says the developer has gone dark. Can anyone else verify this?

If you're a Patreon then you know more than anyone else here. Her last post there was on March 29. I'd give her until the end of the month before i say she's gone dark. But she's not doing herself any favors by staying silent.
I am not a patreon I just read the public forum. That's why I am still hoping the parteon only posts had more information.

it's an Indie in develop..so u need a good one
keep in mind that this game doesn't like the intel graphic cards
and change the texture quality ALSO in the menu game before playing
OP should state that you have to go into the games settings to turn on sound as it's set to 0 and many might think the game is broken. I played half way or more through the game before figuring that out.

lowest texture resolution
but it will keep lagging in any case
it's just an indie in develop(if it's STILL in develop....),so it's normal

with this style of gameplay i haven't seen nothing else i think,if you're looking for an horror there's some stuff into the rpgmv and html tag game genresoo.. this game did it to me quite hard and would really love it if someone PM me stuff that are similar
i have already been looking for a lot of unity / 3d games but not all were as good as this one or had the same / similar genre inside

Did anyone ever figure out where the hell the saved gAmes go ? I tried to start a new game got interrupted and aced on a second file, but it seems that no matter the file, it always loads the one that is most advanced in the story...
Usually unity games tend to save in appdata in the localow, or local folders, this game doesn't....
Also can anyone confirm the game ends so far after the 2nd lock in catacombs where younger brother is stuffing the MC's mom like a thanksgiving turkey ?

the style of gameplay of Horny As(s)ylum is really nice. mostly because of the mind control , horror tingle inside and the scenarios of shota x older girls / women did me the most xD if there is atleast a few more with mind control , shota and horror games then just gimme them per PM
