I tried left clicking all over the time bar, but nothing would make time skip... If there was a button, it was not a very obvious one... Perhaps an introduction to how that function works in the intro might help point it out to new players...
I'm not at my computer right now but I think it was the zzz button to the right of the bar.
I could swear I also clicked the ZZZ picture and it still did not move the hours forward... But, as I no longer have the game installed, I'm not able to go back and test it again... In any case, if the ZZZ is a time button, it would suggest more of a day skip button then a button for moving the hours forward... Beyond that, there still should be something in the very beginning, explaining any nuances of the UI... If that is a button for skipping hours or days or not...

Did the two of you load a save or start new? Because "e_bad" is defined at the beginning of the game (line 324 in /script.rpy) and the error is at line 1002 (script.rpy).

The dev said it would be riddled with bugs. He's going on a business trip and will be fixing things when he get's back.
Hope he/she paused donation payments (on Patreon) while not working on the project, otherwise I would sort of consider that a bit underhanded... Got to be vigilant with these developers sometimes, to ensure they are above board and not milking or scamming folks out of their donation money, while openly (or even clandestine) not doing anything to further the development...
