FYI the old filter is no longer available so you only need to look at image 2.

I would say the filter adds some cellshading and makes the game more a bit more cartoon-like. Think of the game Borderlands if you know what that is, it's just less extreme now.

This VN/Game is not the greatest for being a typical relationship grinder porn fest... There is tiny amounts of story, but nothing meaningful or deep... The protagonist isn't necessarily the nicest of guys, even though there is a Love Route and a Obedience Route for each of the 4 current female characters, that have actual content... Time mechanics need a revamp, because skipping time in this one can only be done from one location, requiring going through several menu's... In it's current incarnation it feels a bit generic overall... Be careful to manage money right, otherwise you could reach a dead end quickly, depending on your choices... I went ahead and posted my review...

There is a button right of the time bar when you are in the main hall. There you can also skip the time.
