The other women are not exactly something for the eye and for some only the wick in the colonel! The storyline/interactions / challenge is also a bit monotonous, if anything of it is there at all!

There is enough content to make it worth playing. The rating is high because the game is well made. There were 9 updates so I wouldn't call that few. Over 2 years this game was updated regularly.

Update count means nothing. Some games update twice a year, but each update contains hours upon hours of content. Others update every month, but after two years, there's still little progress.

Thanls, I got it wrong how many updates there were. Thought it was only one lol. And I know even at launch a lot of devs already deliver a huge amount of content each so that's why I was asking, even thinking it was only one or two update maybe it was one of those times. Game seems interesting enough

To each their own. I definitely think it's worth a play, but if I started it now (blank slate) I imagine I'd feel just as unsatisfied as I do now.

The problem.is that it has all this great content planned and it never so much as dips it's toe in it, which makes the whole game come off as a teaseore than anything else.

Totally. I have clocked in around 9 hours in the game. I think I had multiple playthroughs/skipthroughs so it is likely less time, but I would say it will give you at least one fully satisfied evening.
