i saw a dialog with laki and it was totally in japanese.. and then these slug enemies, when they are expanding inside her.. all japanese.. i'm just curious since this still isn't even far into the game.. like 4th area i think?

or did i do something wrong somewhere in the install?

i mean, i just barely made it through my various neuroses and mental illnesses. i can't even imagine having to do that with an enormous, overwhelmingly labor-intensive project -- one that requires consistent creative drive to make progress, and that must be kept secret because it's ultimately still fringe pornography -- on top of all the ruminating, frenetic self-loathing. so in that regard, i definitely think these hentai game creators deserve our respect.

i will say though, it's amusing (in a genuinely sympathetic kind of way) how consistently these creators have backbreaking, all-encompassing psychological problems. i'd say it's like, what, one in three? games with dev blogs that spiral into increasingly bleak emotional outbursts every single post, eventually becoming the dev's xanga page instead of a dev log. i just feel like that should be an enormous red flag to them all that hey, this huge endeavor you're working on clearly takes a toll on the vast majority of people that go for it. maybe go easy on yourself, acknowledge what you're doing is almost certainly the origin of many of your anxieties and doubts, etc etc.

edit: also, he needs to get real with a lot of the gameplay features. i don't know what kind of social environment japan is that enables these creative types to dream big with these "fringe porn that most humans would find abominable + deep gameplay systems + multiplayer capabilities" games. as far as i know, NO ONE wants deep gameplay in these types of games, if only to ensure the sex content remains the focus.

some DEVs i follow on cien, have back, neck, spine, wrist, leg, hip issues.. and some were even hospitalized.. so yeah it's a bit shocking when i hear all these similarities happening to all the different DEVs..

it's like good creative brains, good focus and drive.. but bad weak bodies and maybe unhealthy too..

There's also the limitations of this engine. Each dialogue box has 3 lines. I can't go over that or it spills into the side, so I have to keep many paragraphs short.

Also, if anyone sees any text that spills into the side, take a screenshot so I can fix it.

To be clear, there are 8 levels currently defined in the game: RockeTunnel, SangRockyHills, RottenForest, YentyLake, RaoFamilyFarm, FormicHills, AvinAbandonedFactory, and Sewage.

I agree, this is something the game doesn't really explain. So here's my explanation:
On the 'Suit Expansion' screen, you can adjust your stats with CustomPoints, but you can spend more more points than you actually have.
If your remaining 'CustomPoint' is positive, then your passive energy drain will be slower, but if it's negative, your passive energy drain will be faster. So you can pump up your stats for a boss fight, at the cost of a self-imposed time limit. Or choose to reduce your stats so you burn less energy while exploring.
'Suit Level' buffs all three of your stats - STR, VIT, and DEX.
STR Assist and VIT Assist give double the bonus of Suit Level, but only in that one stat.
Suit Mode biases the bonus you get from Suit Level towards the selected stat.
STR increases all damage you do, and also makes it easier to struggle out of grapples.
VIT reduces all the damage you take (both HP and durability) and also improves your stamina regen (the cooldown between dashes)
DEX increases your action speed, so you run and attack faster. It also makes the minigame fights easier.

hey, not quite on topic, but we should be able to buy a lot of upgrades from euno, right? I bought one custom point awhile ago and haven't been able to buy any other upgrades since. Tons of money atm as well.

Yeah, under the Suit Strengthen menu in his shop. Use the arrow keys to select how many to buy. You can buy each upgrade up to 50 times, but the price increases exponentially so it will get unaffordable pretty quickly.

If you had the previous version (1 month prior), you can just download the update version and not need to download the 5 parter. Otherwise, you'll need to download the entire 5 part package and extract all of it.

Just tried this for the first time, but I seem to have an issue with infinite loading screen when tryng to enter the third hunting ground. "The forest of foul fragrance". Everything worked fine until now, but I can't enter this area due to infinite loading screen. Has anyone got a fix for this?

What I have done:
1. Downloaded all five parts.
2. Unzipped them all.
3. Merged the data folder from each of the parts into the part1 folder.

You can add new textboxes if you need to.
Copy and paste the text format of the previous box and add the dialogue accordingly... but yes, keeping it short is still difficult.

My hats off to you for keeping up with the translation. I did it up until the Sweep events I think, then I got a day job and girlfriend and didn't have the time, haha. That's when you took over using mine as a base.

Sounds like you did it right. If the infinite load persists, try change it to Jap language? If that works then it's a file issue on the developer's end

I think I got around this by unhiding the game files on my drive. For some reason the game itself doesn't see the files if they are hidden. You can hide the game folder tho.
