Considering the bugginess of new story content in 0.9.x, I'm not surprised by this decision.
Truth to be told, these where the most buggy Patreon releases of HP I have played.
Sure older ones had bugs two, but most of the times those where minor edge cases. You could consume new content without issue.

so I do believe my PC meets those specs I'm not certain about the graphics but I have 12 GB of ram and over a terabyte of space left and I'm running windows ten the error message is
d3d11.dll caused an Access Violation (0xc0000005)
in module d3d11.dll at 0033:d4d84964.

okay, i've tried out 0.9.1 (thanks to halliday for the link), and here are my thoughts:
i'll just say that i can totaly understand if they're slowing down the rlease cycle.

I'm not saying its Win10, but it's probably Win10 ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Also you just admitted what your problem is, this is a DX11 game, and if you only have DX12 with no legacy releases, this explains your problem. Install DX11 and you can kiss the access violation goodbye. (Hopefully)
If this doesn't work you may need to update Visual C++ Redistributables.
Found bug with how Ashley related quest from Vickie is given, in 0.9.1.
You can get into situation with no quest being given, or getting two same responses.
Also checked 0.9.2 Mods file, and this part of code (dialogue id 16), is not modified, so it is bugged in 0.9.2 too.

Unless you've been using a walkthrough for the entire game, (and even then you should have learned a few things,) this update didn't add THAT much. As I stated in a previous comment, I'm waiting for a more stable version to release before I update the guide on OP, too much can change, and I still haven't established both paths for screwing Ashley yet. Play the damn game :b
If anyone is owner of Steam version, they can switch to 0.9.2 branch and play new content now...
It is more stable then 0.9.1, but there are still bugs.
Additionally, it looks like 0.9.0/0.9.1 mods files are not anymore on Eek servers, so you either need 0.8.7, 0.8.8 or 0.9.2 to get story files.

So at this point I feel like an idiot, but I just can't get the sex scenes to uncensor. I've added the .txt file where I was supposed to, reloaded, relaunched and restarted the game at different points and toggled nudity on and off a few times for good measure. Nothing seems to do the trick. Do I have to wipe my saves maybe? I'd really rather not, my computer runs like shit so just grabbing all the items again would be a pain.
