I just wanted to inform you that I cut out the lesbian scene that I mentioned in previous posts. I couldn't bring myself to like it very much. In playing it, I found it a little too forced.
That doesn't mean I can't include some of it in the future, but it needs to be well contextualized. In case, make it optional as well.
However, this also means that there will be less animations in the update. But I preferred it that way.
In Chapter 4 there will be a lot more action.

Speaking of which, what do you people expect with each new update of a game?
Does there necessarily have to be hot scenes or even if the story progresses without sex scenes is it okay?

i play for story....porn is eye candy and welcomed of course not exactly important to see 20 adult scenes in each update....

Maybe you are the one slightly misinformed, but Nyx already set herself up for another re-coding down the line.



She's done this re-coding and is already planning the next one...
I ask you wouldn't it be best if for once she stopped going in order(ep1, 2, 3), did the scenes necessary for this particular situation (already with the new assets/quality), cleaned all the things she perceives to be a mistake, instead of leaving for a future (3rd)makeover?
It's hard for me to say, "yes, do multiple paths, prepare a bunch of saves" when she says there's another one of these coming sometime in the future.

Have to say, it doesn't matter to me if an update contains no hot scenes as long as most of the characters gets scenes with the MC.
That makes for a moderate slow burn, more hot scenes in the next update and makes us bond more with the characters

We expect the adventures of MC to go on, also we expect hot scenes with the MC and his conquests.
Heroes save people, they then get rewarded. Watching a movie with The Rock right now:
the protagonist is called godzilla by coworkers, he saves girls, literally all girls he saves for the most
part of the entire movie. Having MC be all around saving girls kind a hero is a known hugely successful mantra in block buster movies all over the world going back to the start of cinema or games in general.

Even the pixel chasers games from old tv gaming systems have MC be the hero saving damsels in
distress and getting rewarded.

So we expect MC to crash any and all lez scenes and join in making them better.
MC has to do heroic stunts and get rewards, maybe not the best girl, maybe not the girl he saves,
but he better damn well get a girl or keep getting hot scenes with the girl he pines for
every update. This is what keeps players entertained, action, hot scenes, you do not have to
emasculate MC or NTR him or shit on him to manufacture drama, just watch a movie with the Rock
and emulate the kind a scenarios that always see him coming out on top.

i would prefer to see story advance alot of devs add sex scenes just so the update has one and in that case usually feels rushed and dosnt make a ton of sence in the story

I think the goal should be to strike a proper balance of between story and the sex scenes. I think that more updates than not should at least have something, but it doesn't have to be 100% of the time. Although, even if there aren't like full on sex scenes with animations and all that in every update, some eye candy in the updates would still be appreciated, like the scene with Erdie in the bath.

In general, I think people expect at least a little something, even if it's not like an entire scene. So far I think you've done a pretty good job balancing the two. I don't have any complaints. Is there a specific ratio that you are already aiming for?

Yes exactly, you will be able to travel between the two worlds at will.
As the plot progresses this option will be unlocked.

Ofc I'm here for sex scenes but also for a good story. So, the sex should come when it feels right in the story. Hopefully with some fighting for it by the MC. There are some stories were every girl jump in the bed and fuck the MC as soon as they meet him. These stories I quit playing! So far it feels really good to play this game (and I'm still here)!

Anyone feel as though the "sandbox" elements in this game are entirely pointless? At no point have we been given any choices, or anything resembling a "sandbox", other than a map to explore. However, regardless of how we explore the map, the story itself is linear. This "game" might as well just own up to being the VN it really is at heart.

Well wouldn't a sex scene feel more organic after some relationship building?
And I would say that relationshild building is story progression.
Better than some sex scene that feels forced into the story.
But that's just my 2 cents.

However, I don't understand what that has to do with this. It is a whole new game with a different genre.
