There is a script that can extract all the texts at once ( ), but it also has it's issues
I can push a fix for duplicated text and non japanese texts on days, and i can add development mode to the tool so it could write text to scratch file then can be live edited? (tho don't know if that would worked how i imagine i want it to)
Sounds good, the looping text duplication was causing me major problems, if it's not system specific I wouldn't anyone recommend touching the tool until it's fixed. edit: it's fixed in current versions

I was suggesting you add a "translated text injector only" alternate loader or something, testing and the end use of existing translations don't benefit from the untranslated text collection. If there is currently a way to do this I couldn't find it, I don't know much about coding though.

I did briefly brave the tsunami of duplicated text to do some translations, Line breaks are working by the way. I'll post my WIP mapping file and a few pics as an example of what the tool can do, Not much in there currently but I've confirmed almost all of what's included in the mappings is working as intended.

It's intended to be used with the partial UI translation and it's been tested with it and daz's story translation installed.

I was suggesting you add a "translated text injector only" alternate loader or something, testing and the end use of existing translations don't benefit from the untranslated text collection. If there is currently a way to do this I couldn't find it, I don't know much about coding though.

Updated the project
There are now 2 versions release and dev, the dev being for translation purposes
Fixed saving of duplicated text or at least i think?
And now only texts that have at least 1 japanese character will be saved i think?
And removed that junky fucking loader

Mass duplication is fixed, definitely usable now. You may want to update your gitgud release section. Tool's still picking up some English text but is possibly ignoring most, only tested it briefly.

Not a big deal though, most important part is fixed no more mulit-million line text files. Translated the remaining of the structures that unlock at start will do the rest if I can get an endgame save.

The first texts contain chunky space which is not ascii:  
The latter ones are also not ascii thus why they are there
Those can be fixed but it's bandaid patch so it will need to be updated with new characters each time those appear

I translated what I could which is over 800 entries, There's still a significant amount that can't be translated but I would say it is playable without OCR now, of course it's better if you have it.

Make sure you use it with the files daz posted in this thread as the version on git is missing the image translation. I've attached my mappings file and little edit i did to make it easier to understand scouting, if you want to use it drop it into <main game directory> \data\Graphics\Obj

This translation is done with GPT-4 for all the story/dialogue, choices, and images (From this thread). Basically you should be able to follow the story but you will struggle actually playing the game because of the UI not being translated. If you really want to play you can use something like Google Image TL on your phone but otherwise I have no solutions for this. Best to hope someone smarter can crack the game and translate the UI somehow.

Apologies, did the best I could. Feel free to report any other issues and I will fix them asap.



I included the necessary files to run the translation in the zip folder with a few tips on there use, you can get them directly from なるみ's gitgud.
Translated:

Facility names and descriptions - Everything I could find is translated, there is a small part of the facility interface that can't be translated and the descriptions could benefit from editing and effect testing but they should complete or very close.

Diplomacy - everything I could find, the "word bubble" banter is untranslatable.

Note: I ran into a bug with during testing, when the cult of darkness first appears and asks about you intentions choose the 3rd option that you made a faction for no reason and you wont have issues. If you choose anything else weirdness will happen and you will miss some stuff (including a scene potentially).

Prostitution choices - everything important

Slave (supporter) ability descriptions - few are probably missing do to the ability upgrade system and lack of saves that cover every state

Spot Actions - everything I found

Army battles - Mostly translated but you will need to memorize the meaning of bracketed text in the scout reports if you use scouting (optional), Some mechanics related info in skill descriptions couldn't be translated but the basic descriptions are in.

Heroine and Partner Abilities - Names are translated Heroine ability descriptions listed in the skill equip section are translated can be read after you buy them. (upgrade section and mouse over text is untranslatable)

Can be Translated but isn't:

Enemy names and enemy skill names - Some are translated but most aren't, hard to capture and hard to translate accurately with out being about to also capture the description in the mouse over text. The game would benefit from finishing these but I'm not planning on doing it.

Event titles - Just the names, event's are translated by Daz's patch.

Prostitution variant titles - Just flavor with a hint about the theme of the event line it starts.

Dragon Language Descriptions - Partial translated only because I lacked a save with them all unlocked to translated them, I got about 2/3 of them but they are heavily tied to progression, If someone provides a save with them all unlocked I will finish them.

Small amount of other progression locked content from things listed the translated section.

Rest is untranslatable, the most impactful are item names and "mouse over" text in the over-world and battle.

Can be captured but not injected: Item names, Report Log, Heroine skill upgrade section and some other minor misc parts (See non working mappings for examples)

Thanks for your work, i will try to look at the non working mappings. I might have an idea why those doesn't work.
