Well, I'm not the specialist in gallery/replay Mods. But I did a quick try with a button in the replay screen to toggle between "normal" view and an "unlocked" view.
Info: a scene viewed in the unlocked mode gets of course also then "seen" and is therefore permanently unlocked. Like if you would have played that in a normal playthrough.

KoGa3, will you update for the new version? Is it necessary?

I'm way too vanilla for Solvalley. I tried it years ago and I won't touch it again. I'm pretty sure the dev said HS Tutor was going to be the closest thing to a vanilla game he's ever going to make, which is why this is the only one of his I'm interested in.
Solvalley was not vanilla enough for you? xD

The game was a wholesome comedy without any dark themes. Sex scenes were also very tame throughout the whole game.
What was it that let you shy away from the game?

Back to topic to HS tutor. I don't know what it is but it feels like TK8k slowed down to a crawling pace in terms of development. Solvalley got developed faster.
I love koikatsu models and style that comes with it but...well it has been 5 years already.

You know, he is working on 3 games at. Also the further you are into the development the longer it takes to tie up all loose ends in the code, storylines etc. There was also some polishing he did for HS tutor, cause he was cringing to much when reading the old dialogue :KEK: :KEK:

Pretty sure he means the sharing and the overall sort of "pump and dump" feel in Solvalley where the MC is largely mean to a lot of girls and they are all generally unhappy.

Yeah Solvalley got developed faster but isn't that because he was... working on Solvalley? Once he goes full time on this one it should go faster too no?

One of the endings has a girl literally one second away from cheating on the MC, there's a decent amount of optional sharing, and a lot of the girls are complete sluts that fuck lots of people, including "mom". I mean, it's not really hardcore but it's far from vanilla.

Damn, Bob69 himself answered to my post. Thanks for all the work you put into this site btw.

Alas the saying is as old as it gets that working on multiple projects is a bad idea. Especially when you are a solo dev.
Stick to one project and finish it......which is also a challenge in itself for some developers on here :KEK:

My post only stemmed from me randomly stumbling again on this game after years and wondering that it is still not finished after all this time. A little bit of frustration was at play as well.

Yeah Solvalley got developed faster but isn't that because he was... working on Solvalley? Once he goes full time on this one it should go faster too no?
What do you mean he was faster because he was working on solvalley? Are you saying that he is not working on HS tutor?
I don't understand your reasoning. Did you want to say that when he was working on solvalley only that made him faster?

Also I guess its high time that he goes full time on the project then if he still doesn't yet. I mean come on you can't argue that 5 years is a long time. The motivation doesn't seem to be there as it was with solvalley or he wouldn't jump between projects.
You know....after typing it all down, what are these 3 projects he is working on other than HS tutor and this island game which was meant to test out things with 3D rendering?

Yeah to be granted it was a long time ago I played this game. Only thing that stuck was the overall goofyness of the game. Also my sense of vanilla has dulled over the years and my awareness for those themes changed.

This is all from memory, am not 100% sure of it, but he maid the DAZ "mini" game as a learning project, thats why that one started and it received very good feed back that wanted him to continue.
He was/is working on Solvally/HS tutor alternately, I forgot why, but its probably a combination of wanting to finish the rest of Solvalley that was missing but also putting out more stuff for HS tutor and maybe (my personal guess) to not burn out on one project.

2 other projects. HS tutor, Solvalley (I am not sure if Solvalley is no really complete finished) & Honeymoon Island

Yeah, you can't neglect a possible burnout. Witnessed it myself.
Then again still working on solvalley is a double edged sword. To my understanding the game was feature complete years ago so why go back and touch up scenes for an old game which could have been resources spent on this game.

But who am I anyway right? If the dev thinks this was necessary than it was exactly that.

Anyway it was an impulse reaction and post and I gonna lurk again while trying to put this game to the back of my mind again.

Well I play the games once a year from start and I realize that after 1 year and only 2 updates the new staff to play are extremely low...comparing with playing last year. Even though I love this game I will gonna skip playing and hope for more and bigger updates in the future now that he finish Solvalley….
