Ah good old unity game with 0 system optimization. Gotta say I am disappointed from the hype of the first game which was fun and had quirky characters, not to mention my favorite character is not even in the second one. Besides Kyu the rest are quite generic, the gameplay is needlessly hard and punishing for no reason. The RNG is insane as well as the actual content being way less then the first game.

For those who want to lessen the grind CheatEngine gonna save your asses.

Still can't play the game, even after waiting almost 30 minutes after opening it but the game is still crashed and makes my computer slow. I think I need a x32 file either way I need help.
So what kind of potato do you have?

On Steam it says;

  • MINIMUM:
    • OS: Windows 7 (SP1)+
    • Processor: 1.2 GHz
    • Memory: 4 GB RAM
    • Graphics: DirectX® 10 Compatible Graphics Card
    • DirectX: Version 10
    • Storage: 4 GB available space

If you have less than this, it's time to upgrade -)

he is using a 32bit computer I'm guessing he needs to upgrade if that's the case

Well around 2008 64bit became standard for like Windows and OSx and even 5 years earlier 64bit became a thing, so.. if you not running 64bit these days... The problem isn't the games, its the players :ROFLMAO:

Somehow I feel there's less content here then there was in the first game. Plus do find it somewhat ironic that Polly was given the Poison treatment. By that, it can be imply she may or may not be something you think she is since all her pair shots with whoever she's with has clever camera angles where she could have ether or... but still kind of a wasted/lazy part on the devs side since may as well not even have the trans option at all.

Yeah, as a big fan of the first one and of tile-matching games in general, chalk me up to another person not satisfied with the sequel. Basically, there's some interesting ideas for a tile-match game but there's just too many rng and punishment elements, the porn quality and amount is just not enough (less porn in the sequel? Come the fuck on), and the way some of the ladies are characterized is makes them less appealing as the game goes on.

In terms of gameplay, I like the idea of splitting up my tile-matching between two targets with each one having traits that affect item choice and board interaction. Good idea. What's not a good idea is having those traits be overly punishing. For example, joy bells and passion hearts are imperative to winning, so having the weeb and the Zoey just flat-out reduce them is not fun. The Latino woman lowing your date score for switching away from her--a core gameplay mechanic--is not fun. The dumbass punishing you for making big matches is not fun. The weeb (again) rng butting in when you're trying to pull off a combo with the other date is not fun. Sure, there's an item that stops baggage from activating, but having to spend a precious item slot on making sure the game is actually fun to play is not fun. The good examples of this mechanic are the gift restrictions as it changes an other wise bad thing--exhaustion/upset--into a strat: something to aim for. The best ones were the traits that gave the broken heart tiles different effects. That was fun to build and combo around.
As it's been said, the stamina system is also not very fun because you get punished for making big moves. Potentially failing a date because you did something spectacular is a bit incongruent. A stamina system is not bad in of itself, quite a good idea in this case imo, but it should have just ticked away as the date progressed with perhaps matches of four or more replenishing stamina. That would have also got rid of the awful stamina tiles, which most of the time just take up space.
It's also pretty grindy and rng-dependent. I found the best strat was to shove food items that grant starting passion down the throats of the ladies and hope and pray that the starting board had a few good passion/sincerity combos straight off the bat. By the end of the game, I could pretty much tell whether or not I would fail a date based on only the first handful of moves. Without a good passion/sincerity game, getting those thousands upon thousand of date points just wasn't going to happen in a timely manner.

The porn was really disappointing too. I still find it utterly mind-boggling that the sequel has more girls but less porn than the original. How. How in the fuck. The selfie feature from the original was taken out, which is a shame because getting increasingly sexy messages from your partners was a lot of fun. Even more disappointing was that in both the original and the sequel, I found the character portraits to be more appealing than the CGs, and now they don't even get a scrap of their kit off! Come the fuck ooooon. I bet there even are nude models too. Abia is practically naked in two of them. The threesome thing, while a good idea, often looked and felt like you were just watching two other lesbians fuck without you an active participant. And while it's not my jam, if you're into dickgirls, well then you got cucked out of cock something fierce. If you're going to have something like that in your game, commit!

I think the biggest let down was the girls. Basically, you are making a porn game so make them appealing to fuck especially if I have to fuck all of them to progress the game. I appreciate the extra complexity "baggage" gave to the gameplay, but it made all of the girls more unappealing the more I got to know them. Having Jessie be depressed and wheeze in my face is not sexy. Romancing someone who is literally impressed by toddler's toys is not sexy. Having the goth chick blabber about insufferable teenage angst is not sexy. A loud, unhygienic, cringey weeb is not sexy. Not having any hidden characters like in the original is also a bit of a let-down.

To sum up my little TED Talk here: there's a good idea for a tile-matching game here, but it's just not fappable. For a porn game, that's pretty damning.

For the record, I played the game up until the point where it became apparent what I had to put myself through to beat the end bosses. I promptly checked the fuck out at that point.

I feel disappointed when compare this to Huniepop 1, there are no build up to sex and some threesome just feel force. The game is just like speedrun threesome for me, you dont even need to talk to 2 girls to have threesome with them.

1) Protagonist progression is slow and unrewarding

2) No progression with girls (1 date, sex -> next)
HP1 had feature when in progression after each date you would recieve a photo from girl, which were more erotic each time. Sadly it was not implemented in sequel. Girls clothing doesn't seem to make sense with amount of time spent with them, while HP 1, girls outfit were more open after each date.

3) Threesomes should have been something like endgame content. Double dates and not being able to chat without "third wheel", ruins whole dating vibe that was plesant in HP1.

4) Art is good, but quantity is lacking. Each pair has like 1 picture, one girl can be in multiple pairs, but still kind of anticlimatic for eroge in 2021.

5) Protagonist is same guy from HP1, but now he is alpha, so he doesn't change from all over the game

6) Date process is still intertaining, having 2 girls and stamina are not a bad ideas gameplay wise, but developer seemed to not understand how to reward player in matchinarow game, because matching 4 or 5 is instead of wasting (none/1) stamina, wastes 2 or more which is more of a punishment than reward. Tiles itself or gift mechanic wasn't changed from HP1.

7) New monetary system with fruits sucks ass, complex, could left money/exp without any problem.

8) Characters are kinda bad, half of them are sluts, 3 of them from HP1,and personally: whose idea was to add weeb girl? WHOSE? She is not cringe, she is eternal shame, I can't imagine how can she be attractive aside from weeb fetish (there is actually one). Everyone from new cast could be described with 1 word. Lack of dates doesn't help at all with character development.

Whole post is like "HP1>HP2", but it actually is true, maybe nostalgia plays with me, but I genuenly can't find something which remarkably better in HP2.

Overall

It is not a bad eroge, it is a bad HuniePop

I agree with you 100% I bought the game to support the devs as well as thinking that a sequel would be extending it's prior games aspects. The CGs is truly disappointing (I think the vulva is exactly the same just copy pasted onto every girl and it looks obvious), I actually managed to get to my second to last date before the final boss, and I could not complete it whatso ever. It was with Lillian and Ashley on Average guy difficulty, their baggage is just too much in any combination (maybe I keep messing it up but I get so close to filling the bar and then lose).

Yes, RNG has become way more reliant here than our own skills, it tired me out the first day after a couple of dates and to add to that, a majority of the gifts are kinda useless. I found myself just using the two pinwheel gifts at the same time to give a big boost as well as the 25% joy increase. Those two gifts can carry you quite a bit.

I do think that the devs will update the game with secret girls in the future, I know one of the Q/A answers was that they will continue to support the game or something like that, maybe they will listen to feedback and change things up. If they overhaul the CGs and make them better, that would be great but seems like a long shot.

Alright, here's how the game should have been:

Premise is good, Dating in a tropical paradise, insane nymphojinn premise, awesome, keep it. Need threesome fairy wings to save the world, fits the game lore, fun, keep it. Now, instead of having every single girl be an STD-immune degenetate (even Leilani, total degenerate obviously), who is compatible with EVERY single girl everywhere (wait, you are unbearably anoying AND have a smelly pussy TOO? im totally in! lets play cyber detectives!), make single dates with each girl and have threesomes be the end-game, having to actually find which girls are compatible with which, start like the first game, ends like this one.

Too many girls for so much content you say? Well remove one or three. Brooke comes to mind, anyone who enjoyed her and her truly abysmal voice acting (Same as Ashley and her crap fake brit accent and same as the Sylvia game I think, maybe I just dislike the VA) is out of their mind. Suki and Zoey also seem to be generally hated (I do think they are funny though). And Candace, the cocaine addicted bimbo stripper, if you didn't enjoy her, well shut your face, she is hilarious, and I will fight you. Theres also the thing that less threesome combinations means less art for that, so it should work out.

As far as the actual game mechanics go, I partially enjoyed them. Up to a point. Got to 70% of the game on hard and then, realizing that my unbridled masochism is NOT as unbridled as I fucking thought, stopped. The game being more complex is good, baggage is fun, even stamina can be interesting. The insane reliance on RNG Jeebus, however, is not, I happen to believe he was just some dude, so I'm screwed. Food should be plentiful, some baggage traits should not be there, and as everyone else has said, the stamina punishes for big matches is plain dumb. they could be kept even, but restrict it to 2, and dont punish double 3s, something like that. That's just tinkering though, I do happen to believe the new gameplay elements, if implemeted properly, would be an improvement.

And finally, its 2021 dude, get an animator for your high budget, fully voiced, basically AAA porn game, and bring back the progression message pics, finding out you get nothing for 2 of your three dates is a bummer.

Now that would be an awesome game.
