I finished chapter 2 with Cecil and after looking at the complete Monsterpedia I see that there's several enemies I didn't encounter. Are all of them from the alternative routes or are there some who I missed or can't be fought yet?

Yep, there are alt routes with MAGE and Cecil, there's also if you have Cecil leave the party during Cecil Only for another character/route. And maybe even more. So you complete one route and it's like maybe 25-33 Percent of what is fully available.

If at all possible, it would be nice if there was a recollection room with avatars and names instead of just the monsterpedia and the long list of names, as it resets every time you go back and disallows visual recognition. Though i have to say, art is fire.
