Virtually all the enemies in this game are creepy-crawlies, like insects and such. The game has some good ideas when it comes to battle-fuck combat mechanics, but I really really wish the enemy roster was slightly more appealing

Just tested it, I use Brave as well. It did not happen to me. Probably just a false positive from an early download attempt.
