A lot of developers are content to endlessly milk a premise without resolution. That’s not what I’m doing here. I already know how both parts end and I’m building toward something powerful and final. That said, I’m definitely open to a smaller epilogue or even a new story set in the same universe with different characters someday.

So don’t worry about it being “two parts.” It’s one continuous, deliberate story just told in two acts. You’ll feel the momentum, the payoff, and the purpose every step of the way.
Personally, I like the idea of your games looking like those forgotten VHS tapes with movies from the past. This way you can cover the timeline between 1984 and 2000 because that's when the DVD era actually began, modifying your soundtrack a bit for the current year to keep it fresh and unique. I really congratulate you, your game basically popped out of nowhere and immediately became one of my favorites. That whole VHS feel makes it very mesmerizing for me

Really like everything that the dev has said so far. Only thing that bums me out a little bit is that the story will apparently be only a week long.

It can absolutely be an incredible story contained in that time frame. Just wish it was something that ended up extending itself ingame for multiple months or perhaps years.

Granted, that kind of thing would need to make generous use of timeskips, but ah well.

Well, everything so far has been amazing, and I'm looking forward to more regardless.

:) To clarify, Part 1 will be 7 and a half days, which will cover up to version 1.0 then, Part 2 will be about the same length. So the whole thing will be at least 14-16 days. There could also be time skips and there definitely are some historical flashbacks in part 2 which cover time before the 1980s.

The story is interesting, it's done well, the setting of the end of the twentieth century is also conveyed well. The only downside is poor optimization, there are too many resources for animation.

While waiting for the Walkthrough mod update, here’s version 0.7.6—a simple mod where you can track basic values.
It was edited with automatic coding, so there might be errors or missing parts.

Walkthrough_0.7.6.rar
Extract it into the game folder and confirm the file replacement.
