I honestly think the best thing would be to move away from the pixel art and just do 3d or 2d. it seems like the art is already there and just turned into pixels. but idk anyone who would rather watch a lower rez picture over a high quality 2d/3d image.

up to the dev i guess, but i was definitely interested in the game until i saw that it was pixelated.

Too bad you can't adjust the screen size. This is a major handicap for people like me whose native language is not English. It's really not practical at all. Please review the options of this game and make it windowed.

Enjoyed my initial play-through, this game feels like it has it's own style and some real potential. Yes there are the foibles that others have commented on, but a decent variety of characters were set up in the intro without lingering too long on them. If some meaningful choices are introduced so that it doesn't turn into a linear click-fest, and there's some decent 80's style horror added to contrast with the soap opera, then I will back this on Patreon.

There is like 1 vampire in this game. Zombies are done to death, vampires not so much. The fact that you had to list a TV show that ended 20 years ago and a movie that came out 11 years ago as your breaking points kinda attest to that.

Also anyone that says i can't play a vampire game anymore, but then hops on the billionth harem/incest/vanilla game just cracks me up.

Wrong.
RenPy is the top dog when it comes to developing a VN.
But this game is not a VN, it is primarily meant to be a "Point & Click Adventure".
Honestly compared to a 1980's Point & Click this game feels far better in the control department.
RenPy can't do that in it's rendering engine. At All.

Plus it is likely the game so far is more or less the prologue for the following story with better graphics and better controls.

RenPy can do point and click just fine. Try Badik or some other renpy games with free roam and p&c content.

I didn't get far in this, so I can't really say about the majority of the content. The pixelation and filters are a neat idea, but I'm thankful I can turn them off. It's technically neat and generally WORKS great, I think.

My problem is, the pacing is... incredibly, and infuriatingly slow. I got to the morning of the second day before I couldn't cope with the agonizingly slow crossfade between images and the interminable DELAYS between speech in conversations. Thing is, I read quite fast, and having to STOP AND WAIT for more reading makes me absolutely loathe it. I think I'd love to play this, but until you make it possible not to spend upwards of 70% of my time in conversations WAITING for text, I can't handle this.

I guess you never played a classic Point & Click Adventure.
I'm mostly talking about 1980's/1990's Sierra Games, Monkey Island series, Day of the Tentacle, ...
Otherwise you would see that there is a HUGE difference between those and "Click and Activate a Scene" like BaDIK employs in the free roam sequences.

Nice little game. I love the art style and the athmosphere. I have to say though, that the walking around feels kinda clunky. How many sex scenes are there so far? I got to see the dream scene with the coach and the diner bathroom scene with the slutty schoolgirl. Did I miss anything?
