If you have trouble starting the game, start the game once through the launcher (InitSetting.exe), this will check for errors and fix them as well before starting the game.
As of R2.3 you can update the sideloader modpack (clothing mods etc) from the launcher. Just press the icon in the lower left corner of the launcher with the arrow to check for updates. I'm updating that more often than the main pack, so should get some updates there every so often

This pack is made with a up2date base game as of 06.12.2019, along with the components listed in credits, all up2date as of the release date of this pack. Some extras have been included, but are either easily removable or are sorted into folders marked [OPTIONAL]. Enjoy!
To add shortcuts to your desktop of the launcher and the most important folders for the game, feel free to run '[BR] Create Desktop Icons.bat'.

[B]IF YOU'RE MOVING FROM ANOTHER REPACK:[/B]
I don't recommend just extracting this over another repack, due to potential conflicts. Please extract this to its own folder and move over your chara, cap, studio and save folders.
[B]WANT A VANILLA PACK?[/B]
If you wish to convert this pack into a vanilla pack, there is a included script named '[BR] Vanillify the game.bat' that gives you the following options:
1. Remove only translation, leaving the rest of the mods intact
2. Remove all BetterRapack Extras
4. Remove all BetterRepack Extras, mods and translation
Feel free to use this script to customize your install, but keep in mind that using this may make the game incompatible with future repack updates, requiring you to download the next repack in full!

You should just do a clean reinstall, Uninstall the broken one then Reinstall the fresh one thats the fastest solution.
Also if you active on Discord you should notice some AIO things there, its works well for me since my game broke after updating (IDK if the cause was DHH or Another Mods).
But erasing mods is simple really, Except if you forget to do a backup.
Also also you can try Vanilyvinge? game if you use BR to restore game into vanillas version (im never do vanilyvinge? though, so do it at your own risk).

Has anyone encountered the issue where the scenes downloaded from the official illusion site cannot be loaded? I’m running a clean game install and the scene files were downloaded from Illusion official uploaded site using a VPN. But 8 out of 10 files won’t load and just get stuck upon reading in NeoStudio2... wonder if that’s just me or what’s going on here

- Added FairBair’s HardcoreMode v1.0.3 as optional (this is the mode i named wrong like survival mod, you and girls can die (at least until 1.02Version of the mod, now i readed that penaty is can`t run with you PJ) and you have bar for food, sleep, stamina, etc. (i think, may be wrong, that this is the conflict with V1.05.)
Fortunatelly STN add harcoremod like optional, so we can test update with and without the mod
For people like me, that have or had the problem with load cards from ilussion server (using Hola VPN like a user said, (works, thank you for the info) or downloading the stn folder.
Well, the problem for me was that the cards Not load or when load girls have T position and other position not work. The problem are accesories, clothes, skins, overlays, etc for girls (japanesse, chinesse uses mods, plugins, overlays, etc,etc, that we dont have (westerns that play in english) so the game not recognize the card and unfortunately block all cards. So no one card load (my poor solution will be load one card that you really want, if charge, save with you game version and you dont have the problem anymore. If you try like me, downloading 20 card and load all at the same time, probably never will load)
Finally i have a lot of work this week, i really want test BR 2.3 but well, work is work, and i cant play until friday. And 13-12 they realease a DLC with pray and sanctuary that probably break the game again. If it posibly that users that can test BR 2.3 may give opinions and tell if works fine or have problems may will be really useful for me.
Thank you for the tips with mod, i noticed that the mod for breats movement, sideloader (AIO pack was useful) and others that i have were old. well i was using hf path from 11 november and apply subs updates with new mods (i said that i'm a noob)... and a lot of mod was updated for 11-29 patch. Now i have to make a clean install of the game, add DLC, 06 december free patch, then apply AIO pack for essencial plugins, and then add mods one by one and test if work with new release, then add 13 december DLC and pray that not broke mods or again install updates that fix the old mods. Really STN do a lot of work.

the Changes in 1.0.5 for me is that the Girls more often come to me for asking different Question like Eating together ,sleeping together, of course this "other Thing" and Sex .
I think that was added by one of the two recent updates, them asking, I mean. For example, I had one of my original girls, I have two original girls and I have two default girls in my save, come to me and ask to take a break with me, which then led to her taking me to a couch where she proceeded to use her lap as a pillow for me. I think that is added by one of the two updates since I never had that happen before. I didn't play 2.2 with the November update only, so I don't know if that was the one or if it was the December update released a few days ago.
