There's the advanced bonemod window to play around with, unshackling from the limitations of sliders. But there's also a lot of head mods, which as you guessed are ripped or custom made and ported into the game.

Thanks for the response. So is it that Bonemodx plugin that you open when you are in creator. One thing that kinda annoyed me was they had no slider to adjust curvature of the nose from the base to the tip, which would have helped out quite a bit, if I was planning on creating Jade from DQ11 or Honey Lemon for example (if your looking at a side profile of their heads). Would be nice to also have a detailed tutorial on how to use rips and port them into the game, but I would imagine that is a well kept secret just as it was for porting game ripped characters into Skyrim.

If advanced bonemod is not enough for those kind details there's also the deformers accesories (arms category iirc), a bit tricky to use depending on what you want to achieve but for the nose may work fairly well.
As for porting custom heads you can look up Roy12's guides and lurk a bit over the mod-creation channel at Illusions' discord. There isn't a fully fledged cristal clear guide for modding, as it's something that have been developing over the years and the span of many games with particular nuances to each one, but it's the best place to start off if that really interests you.

Thanks again Beatrix. I'll give that Deformers a try. As far as the Discord goes, I was somewhat aware that I may have to go there for more info, but my experience with 5 other Discords in the past has not been too great. If all fails, I'll give it a try.

I know EXACTLY what you mean. Here's a few tips for hanging on the Illusion Soft cord. Stay the fuck butter cutter away from the Lobby. There is nothing for a new student like yourself there--just crackheads who enjoy being mean to others all in the name of "good fun".
Second, scan the hs2 mods area for info, as well as post questions in the hs2 help. You aren't likely to learn much from Roy's tuts because they are for HS1 and seem designed to appear overly complex. I got so scared trying to read them back in February, I had daymares for a frickin week. Despite this, Roy12 will help you if you can pin him down at the IS cord. Darkruler, Mcm82, Cunihinx and Sjjpl are all very nice. Eminaroah is a wealth of knowledge also; he's the dude who invented our priceless SB3Utility. PS: The bonemod will not likely help you do great noses. It will help you destroy them. See what I did last night to ou poor Wendy Fiore? I haven't seen that much sniffing power since the neighbour's bloodhound had puppies with my ant eater.

My first card share. I wish they had more sliders for the nose, mouth, and a few others. Thought I would choose a character that I have not seen yet... Princess Selenia from Arthur and the Invisibles. Still don't know how to make clothes yet, so everything on her is clothing that came with the game.

Yes, there is actually. I have never tried it before but on that screen, you can theoretically hit Adjust > then start playing with the scale sliders until you have some mega nails.
