Any of y'all play this game with low-spec PC? Because I am, and I can't figure out any way to make the graphic any lower other than with the in-game setting. Do any of you know a way to make it lower than the in-game setting like using .ini file? Or is the game's compatibility just shit? Because I can still run GTA V, although at low res, but it's still able to run it at 40-50 fps nonetheless, and I'm pretty sure this game is not any heavier than GTA V.

I'm running mine on an Intel 2500; if the resolution in the launcher did not do you much, you should try to change it in the mod menu.

The lowest you should put there is 640 x 360, as it's still in 16:9; however keep in mind that most text will be unreadeable, altought if you already know what it says, you'l be fine.

If you do change resolution, keep in mind that there's still the game's 3D resolution, that's on the menu; there you can lower it even to 1/4 of it's original size.

I think the problem is OPTIMIZATION.
I'm playing this with i3 and GT710 GPU with 1366x768 Resolution and Low Settings [12fps and 15 to 17 fps with Map OFF.]
I couldn't play AI-girl due to lags.

It's really weird ins't? Koikatsu runs at 30fps on 1280 x 720 for me, whilst AI-Girl took double digits to load and as it loaded it would stutter like crazy.

I've seen somewhere that it horrendous perfomance comes from the fact that the entire island is always loaded, or something like that. Could someone explain it better to me, I'm curious.

Currently no. A lot of existing AI mods don't seem to work, the HS2 studio has a lot of features missing due to the lack of working mods and you can't load scenes for some reason(?!?)

Studio is a bit broken right now, (can't change the settings for colour adjustment, keyboard shortcuts randomly decide to stop working and not being able to load scenes(!!) to name a few).

Fingers crossed the modding gods are on it!

HS2 is better optimized. Better than AIS. But R1.2 is currently buggy. I don't know what causes it, but my performance has been dropped by 10% since. So look for R1.1 if you prefer a stable version.

My machine is a beast and this repack has caused me some performance issues. Quick fix for frames is to disable self shadows from the graphics presets ingame, maybe simplify the jizz animation, as that was broken and causing frame drops from the last version.

And yeah. Haha! Lockdown + HS2 has turned me into a digital pornographer, apparently...or more of a pervert than I was already...

...probably the latter!

But still, as well as being a pervert, oddly enough I've learned a lot about lighting and composition with this game lol

I mean the level of tweaking you can get into with the basic tools at hand is already impressive, can't wait for the mods to help improve it further.

Just create a few presets with the filters at hand et voila! The people claiming "the graphics are bad", then comparing it to older H-sims that look like they're running on a PS2 are probably overlooking this.

The game is a sandbox from top to bottom

Every screeenshot I've posted, like the ones below, has been from in-game, working only with the occasionally VERY janky poses. The game looks amazing all of the time I'm playing, mostly down to figuring out lighting the scenes properly.

Can't wait to have a fully working (and modded) Studio to tweak.

Yeah, the lockdown can make us reflect on our immora...ahem.. inner-self.
The whole lighting tweaking box is just a god-sent gift. The only thing I don't like much is the Bloom effect, it blinds me out in some maps.

Thanks, man! Bloom is your friend, as long as you tweak it a bit. It can makes scenes look amazing. Using it to highlight things, rather than be a spotlight is what it's for

I'm using the latest repack if that helps! Must be one or two skin textures included with the repack, as I don't save characters with clothes on
