Does anyone know how to fix the body type "[Dainty] High Poly" body from clipping into almost every pants/panty hose/socks clothing?
Pretty sure its already known that not possible. But someone in the Discord server shared a a month ago.

Thank you! Is there a version of that fix for all the other [Dainty] types too, like the High Poly feet or futa version? I tried searching on the patreon where that non clipping fix is, but there are no new posts since 2022

Not sure about that.
As I mentioned previously, its already known that high poly uncensor will clip most clothing, so not many ppl use that.
There is also performance issue as well.

As you mentioned that there is no new post since 2022, yes its normal.
Many old modders retires already.
There is only handful of them and theyre either focus on studio items, map or clothing.
At this point I think its better to avoid using it.
Some suggested using deformer, but I never used it before so dont really know how to do it.

Ahh, I understand, thank you! I never thought about performance issues too, as I seldom even get past the character maker to actually make scenes. Maybe I should test this and switch body types, I have a feeling many of the cards I use might have less optimal bodies.

Hi there. I have a question about the scripted dick by hooh. I have followed all of your steps from attaching and using dick navigation and I thank you for that. But then when I try to do it the second time, I did the same thing but I just increase the dick scale to make it bigger. And then when I add the dick navigator, the dick size changed back to normal and sometimes shorter than normal. Does this mean I can't change the dick scale when I want to use the dick navigator?

Hey guys, I'm hoping someone can help me with a few things that keep getting lost when I bring them up on the Illusion discord's help section.

I'm working on a VN using studio neo V2, and I'm having a lot of problems with things that I assume are bugs.

First up, when I have a crash, or shut down for the day, loading the scene up again destroys the lighting, and does so in a way that changes the underlying properties, so it isn't like I can just remove all the lights and add them back in. Loading just seems to change the render properties entirely.

This is extremely annoying for a visual novel where I need consistency in my images, and I don't know if I can continue if this isn't fixed, because larger scenes have hundreds of renders, and this is just not achievable in one session.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, and you'd be indirectly helping me jump the biggest hurdle in getting this VN into a playable state. It's all written and planned, 4 epsiodes, 142 scenes. This stage is just being a pain. Many thanks.
If you do find some solutions, be sure to share as I'm in the same boat. I'm working on my first HS2/Ren'Py visual novel (have nearly 700 renders in it so far) right now, and I'm having a lot of trouble with lighting and shadow consistency.

One thing I noticed in a recent scene was that my sun source lighting was resetting to a different angle every time I'd load the scene. I had to start taking notes in a separate document of what settings my horizonal and vertical rotation were at in the light settings.

I assume you're using graphics plug in with presets right? My presets are reloading just fine when I reload a scene, but yeah the lightning angles get out of whack. I also noticed the "Shadow Distance" setting was not working until I went in and set it again (under system -> Screen Effect -> HS2_StudioSceneSettings). It would keep my value there (I had a large outdoor scene and had the distance set to 320), but I'd have to click on 320 and hit enter for it to go into effect again.

I'm also having 2 other issues, likely of my own making. I spent quite a bit of time on my characters, and my main female character (a redhead with freckled skin) illuminates pretty dark in most scenes. A newer character I made (lighter skin) seems to almost glow. I had a scene with them both sitting on the couch talking, and they looked like they were rendered in different lightings then photoshopped together. (I imagine it's due to the material/gloss settings on the characters themselves, but trying to change them now might make the older scenes look wildly off. I already redid my entire prologue scene (around 120 renders) once when I updated a character model.)

My other issue is I created my own Studio items (exporting Unity building assets) and for some reason the lightning settings in Studio don't impact all of the room elements the same way. The main walls, floors, and furniture do not seem effected by any lights except the one set as a Sun Source, but the pictures hanging on the wall somehow turn bright when I crank up the lighting intensity on any lights.

on the menu to the left look for a button "Item" it controls Hooh dick and other hooh stuff. At the bottom is the slider for length.

with regards to lighting in a scene and for characters. 1) you might get some effect by turning off character lighting entirely and lighting them using external light sources. Doesn't always work if the skin textures are way off but often does. 2) you can make use of the in studio editor. CTRL+D brings it up. It basically allows you to modify a character right in the scene. The could let you tweak them to match up skins for example, or increase gloss level and it won't affect the saved character as it only affects them in that one scene.
With regards to objects on the maps, this one's really tough as it involves learning how to use light probes and every single map maker seems to use them differently. Playing around with these really changes how objects in the map react. I honestly haven't got very far as it's way beyond my knowledge base, but you can try starting with this one here :

Thank you cptbooty! I actually ran several tests in the last hour or so, and I've had some luck at least figuring out the weirdness of my scene's lightning.

Directional Lights do not illuminate the walls, floors, ceilings of my custom studio item prefab, regardless of which culling masks I enable/disable.
Point Lights, however, will illuminate the walls and such, if the "Default" culling mask is disabled.

I'll read the guide you linked, and run through more tests to see if I can get my lighting to work better.
I do feel like my character models are ok though, which is a relief.
