Does this..... have the horrid UI everyone was forced to use before SkyUI come along?

It's not actually Skyrim, but Ren'py with Skyrim images, so no. Unfortunately, it is a far worse UI that provides choices that are completely inexplicble (as in choices that you don't even know what they mean, let alone what their consequences are).
