Nothing important really just back and forth over whether or not Isis is loyal to the mc or planning to murder/betray them if the opportunity presents itself and whether or not Aurora is boring. With the main argument for the planning to betray the mc being that she's ambitious, good at scheming, she gives off Arianne Martell vibes, and that her family only came to power after overthrowing Ahara's family and killing everyone of them. The counter argument being that we don't have enough evidence she isn't loyal, it's not a good idea to judge based off a completely different character from a different series, and that being loyal to the mc is the most beneficial to her, and that so far she seems very supportive of him and defers to him first before killing Cass. That she was too young to have been involved when Ahara's family was killed by hers and that according to Isis there was an angry mob of peasants that wanted Ahara's family dead anyway and that they were showing mercy by executing them instead of handing them over to the peasants.

Then the Aurora boring debate is pretty subjective so nothing really came of that one way or the other.
I'm sorry... who is Ahara again?

Those kinda look like mourning attires. Maybe the king dies in the next chapter?
That would be a cheap way to resolve the drama surrounding Queen's and Lia's pregnancies, so I hope not.

Besides, didn't he just wake up from White Blood sickness in 1.0?

He sure did, but he's still very weak, he was being slowly poisoned by Alaina for years and he's, well, old. It wouldn't be far fetched for him to never recover.

Eh, I'd say it's fine since MC needs to move beyond his station of prince-regent. The story is, among other things, about Elis restoring the Empire and doing that in the name of his old and sick father seems counter-intuitive and just lame. Kinda robs Elis of the limited agency he has.

Yeah, I think it wouldn't be the worst thing if he passed away sooner or later. I just hope we get to have a little conversation with him about what Alaina told us first. Would be nice to get his side of the story.

It WOULD be weak af, if say like. He dies just before we get to talk to him about it. (y)

Some side girl courtesan whose also from the south that the Mc's mom gets for him near the beginning of the game. She mentions that her family used to rule the south before being deposed in a coup 10 years ago by Isis's family and she has a panic attack once she finds out Isis is at the palace.

Elin yes avoidable but wife no i think. Idk probably Seraphina or maybe Cass also get pregnant.
I hope so...
And Lia too... I asked because of the emphasis on "confirmed," even though in Elin's case it's not mandatory...

I think the only unavoidable one is the wife...

But I'd like to know a list of all the possible pregnancies with all the characters...

I want to know if it's possible to form a soccer team made up of only bastards... lol

By the end of the book, there will be a classic: bastards vs. incest.

Confirmed pregnancies as of 1.0 are:
  • Peasant's daughter (from the trip to the West)
  • Isis / Aurora
  • Elin
Unconfirmed by story, but by script & variable code:
  • Rose
  • Spring
  • Valleria
Unconfirmed, just creampied:
  • Lia (twice now, both avoidable)
  • Seraphina (twice, unavoidable if on her path)
  • Cassandra (twice, avoidable if on her path)
  • Peasant's wife (avoidable)
  • Sonya (twice now, unavoidable if on her path)

I wholeheartedly agree that MC needs to take full reigns as King/Emperor, but killing off Regis before Seraphina and Lia fall pregnant just feels like a cheap way to avoid drama (P.S.: Alaina was "poisoning" Regis so he becomes infertile, not necessarily that he dies earlier. Even Regis himself admits he lived a long & full life) of that impact on their immediate surroundings.

Obviously, it won't be a harmless thing even if Regis is dead by that point, I just think it's one of the easier cop-outs LM can take for avoiding any heavier branching - that is, killing off any character that poses a serious problem with discovering the truth.
