I think, as the story goes on, 'fantasy' side of the plot will be much more relevant hence Lia and Elin will take more role in the whole plot.

Well, internally, the update will be called 1.1, but it will be under Chapter 2.
What we don't know yet, is will Chapter 2 be a separate game; or will LM continue building on top of CH1 game files.

With the update coming so soon, I have to get started on this 7th playthrough. Since I'm going to be killing Cass before the coup starts. Warrior is probably the best perk to go with. Wife will be Aurora. Priscilla escapes, if I'm not mistaken. So I'll have to wait until next update for that. Then as I go to the west, I'll side with the nobles.

i'm doing 2 playtrough, one side with Cass and one didnt. as character i like Cass so far, even tho dev is kinda trying so hard to make her unimportant now.

Yes that was my biggest fear with the options of being able to put her aside.
Even if he doesn't really want to, for development purposes is going to be easier to develop scenes that don't require her, do that he doesn't need to an alternative version with her.
I really really wish her choices would have been different. Not because I don't love her choices, just because of that path with her vs path without her, from the development side.

Me too. Personally, I killed Cass to stop the Coup, and I got extremely upset that LM opted to have that path skip out on an entire content patch because of it.
It seems LM took pity on me, because even if you didn't kill Cass (but didn't join her side in the Coup), her scenes are mostly separate from the "main" plot since then it seems.
It was a ballsy move to have such a massive branching decision possible, and it's clear LM can't quite handle that properly with the self-imposed schedule he wishes to maintain.
Only value I see in Cass is as a potential pet but we'll have to see how well that turns out because it looks like Alaina might be ruining her training while the MC is away.
