Alaina's trying to pull the elves out of decline by putting a (half) elf into power. You're the end result of decades of political speed chess that either required or created a massive amount of collateral damage. I regard the decision not to kill her at the end of chapter 1 to be the hardest in the game, because she absolutely deserves it and I really want to. But, she's an incredibly powerful ally and a ride-or-die when it comes to my plans for reunification.
What I mean is, I don't get why she set up the shellgame with Regis.

Like, the older brother would have already been down to have a half elf heir, right? With Regis dead and Cassandra a girlchild, then even if he was in jail the older brother should have ended up on the throne. Conrad is 3rd born and would probably have been too young back them, so the older brother is basically the only choice. And Elder Brother was (probably) already plowing Celestyne so a half-elven king was already on the horizon.

Basicaly, Alaina seems to have caused problems for no reason imo.

Between his (alleged) murder of the Red Emperor and everyone worrying about him relaunching the Emperor's campaigns, he wouldn't have had enough support to hold the throne. That's assuming that he could still legally inherit the crown after he was found guilty. He was most likely stripped of his titles and inheritance in exchange for his life.

Fuck me, I bet that's why dad had us accept the crown of the west instead of him. It legitimizes us over Conrad, when/if his investigations bear fruit. I bet Alaina had a hand in that decision as well, the sneaky bitch.

I don't find it difficult at all, as you stated her interests align very solidly with ours (as long as we are good a good ruler to the elves, which I intend to be), and what she did, she clearly did it to save her people and not out of any personnal thirst for power (her taking her secret to the grave when you kill her show that). And the only plot she made (that we're aware of, of course, she likely bloodied her hands much more than that) which I actually disapprove of is killing Cass' mother.

A very smart, very powerful elf whose main goal is getting us and keeping us in power as long as MC do what I'm naturally inclined to do? That's not the kind of help we can afford to reject. Only thing is that I'd REALLY like MC to insist with her on more transparency on her plottings. Well, that and have a discussion about Celestine's faction fucking up any of our future efforts to end the mistreatements toward elves.

Doesn't hurt that she's hot (tho I prefered her more regal appearance in first episodes).
Why does everyone seems to forget that Alaina instigated the Cass coup attempt? That doesn't count as a plot? And it was a pretty dubious plot considering that Elis could've died during the chaos that erupts if you refuse to side with Cass (Alaina doesn't even bother to show up to help us during it and keeps spewing poison in her ear if Cass is spared), and if you go along with Cass it puts the crown in a contradictory stance with her plans for the elves as Cass seems to be firmly in the "burn the forests" camp.

Assume for this exercise that everyone assumes your father is Regis. I'm not drawing lines to indicate that, because it makes the trees very difficult to read.

I'd say I spent far to much time on this, but it's the holidays and I've got fuck all else to do. Fun fact, Selina and your son (both models) have the exact same hex code color. I'm not sure if that's important, but now you know.
Splendid work my guy! I assume you're a person who's more into the story rather than the *ahem* sex scene? like 70% into story and the rest is for sex scene

Alaina annoyed me from the start because it felt like I could see her scheming everywhere I looked but after she laid out all her cards to Eris, I don't mind her and see her as an important piece on our side.

Which is why I was so confused to see the option to cut her down in the S1 finale lmao. :WaitWhat: It was so funny to see her halfway through eating suddenly go "wait what". I had no idea Alaina had drawn up so much animosity to the point of giving players an option to permanently kill her. I guess it makes sense for the 'Red' path just like with killing Cass in that route.

I may be misremembering, but...she didn't instigate the Cass coup attempt? She 1)blamed the king for sybilla's death in a letter to priscilla long ago ("some time after sybilla's death") for...unclear reasons 2)did the same to cass to deflect her from figuring the truth and killing her 3)let Cass' plan unfold, trying to keep MC's family somewhat safe. She was probably very ok with MC grabbing power with his sister but Cass AND her faction had motivations of their own too.

She's been plotting in the background for decades, but Alaina is neither all powerful nor all knowing. She's been opportunistic, co-opting others' plots to stay relevant and able to plot, but she's not behind everyone's agenda.

LM is the GOAT honestly for adding it. I've wanted her dead for ages and yet it still felt so out of the blue when he actually gave me what I want. And now even the dreamed Elven Genocide is an actual possible reality...:ROFLMAO:

Doesn't Ellis also have the option to knock up the queen and sister too? I wonder how that family tree is going to work lol

I wish Ellis can also knock up Priscilla.

I came here for the copious amount of incest. The plotting and scheming just makes it better.

It's got it's own special line color in the rubric to it from becoming a tangled, unreadable mess.

I mean, if you didn't kill her. Chances are, she's pregnant. Especially when Elis only needs one creampie to succeed. And he pumped loads of it into her.
Doesn't work on quite everyone. Green route Cassandra seems quite resistant to getting knocked up.

Eh, Cass is irrelevant in that regard. Since she either takes contraceptives or can't get pregnant at all. If she's potentially infertile. Basically making her not important to the discussion.

We're talking about women who don't actively try to prevent Elis from having kids. In which case, Elis has a damn near perfect record, as far as we currently know. With even elves that are harder to get pregnant, getting pregnant quickly. So there's a high chance Priscilla is already pregnant. Especially if Valeria can get pregnant.
