As far as I remember, there was a teaser where the MC was crowned. So, most likely, regardless of our actions, the king will die. Whether he recognizes us as his heir or not will likely determine whether our position as king will be stronger or weaker.
What that will end up meaning in the long run remains to be seen, but yes, seems like the king dies in 1.1 no matter the Crown path you take. Probably for the best, although, that means LM "cheaply" avoids the drama of having a pregnant Seraphina with Regis still being alive - albeit comatose and infertile.
How much % has his latest post on Patreon been announced? Anyone know? Thanks
85%. The next update will be 95% or maybe even 100%, unsure because LM has been taking longer between progress updates this time around (6 days for 1.1, instead of 4 days for 1.0). But the update itself should still release well before October is over.
Lia is arguably the biggest offender of the class system, she has like 3, maybe more scenes locked behind being a bookworm. If you pick mage or warrior, you just straight up miss mutliple sex scenes.

This whole class system in my opinion is just bad. Its not balanced well between them, others get favoritism or more scenes or more options, while others barely get anything extra or good.

I don't even think the dev cares at this point. I feel like he should kind of scrap it all together going into season 2 or chapter 2 or whatever its called, and make it matter so much less.

Cause if it can't be balanced well, just change it up like it doesn't matter. Make it so maybe we find other ways to obtain skills in other classes, so it doesn't matter and th main thing that matters is CHOICES, like it should be.

We already have major branching in choices, so I feel like this class system which locks stuff out and is unbalanced needs to go in some way. Just my thoughts.
It is a pickle, isn't it?

The class system adds a nice touch to replayability of the story, yet that only works if each class gets approximately equal amounts of "extra" content per class.

So far, LM has failed us in that regard - but scrapping it altogether is not something I would advocate for either.

Consider the time for lazy monkey to finish the development of 1.1, QA and then leak here, I think the most possible time will be on early november.

I disagree possibility of kill her adds a depth to mc. That he could even kill his sister if he sees fit.
You could give the option but fail, so it doesn't generate a path in which she is not there.

The problem with this path existing, is that for any path with her you need an alternative path without her, which in practice reduces incentives to do any kind of scene with her altogether. It is just more efective to avoid her even if she is alive...

If she is alive you can always eventually join paths but you cannot do that with her dead unless somehow you bring her back from the dead, which is always a bad thing to do in any story as it makes dead feels less impactful.

It was really a bad move on dev's side.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

LM now has to design the story in such a way that considers both a dead and living Cassandra - and so far, it has caused nothing but problems for her path; she gets fewer scenes than the rest of the girls (maybe not when individually compared, but since you have to make some sacrifices to get on Cass' path, it is not a good thing either), and the Green Crown path follows almost an entirely different story than the White/Red paths (Black Spit vs Lords & Rebels).

The more she diverges, the less incentive there is for LM to dedicate scenes to her path, and that benefits none of us in the end.

Yeah it was a terrible decision. Such a thing would only make sense for very close to final ending moment, so that there is only so much you can diverge

Which remind me of being a dik that have the similar situation.
In the end of s1 the story path have splited into 6 different path, each have unique story for the Li so dr pinkcake need to develop 6 similar amount content for each path everytime and that make the game's development time more and more longer between each updates.
Hope this game won't be the same.

I would advocate scrapping the class system altogether. It's an artificial constraint that limits the one thing VNs should have in abundance; choice. I play AVNs for choices in what I do. Locking out paths should be a player thing, it is why I used the all three classes at once mod for any playthrough.

We've already come this far. Reworking or scrapping the class system would take him far too much time, so I don't think it's a good idea, even though I agree the system doesn't significantly impact the overall story. Right now, it just locks us out of a few character specific scenes.

It doesn't limit your romance options for the main LIs, and that's good. It also makes each playthrough a little bit different, which is even better.

The only problem is with Mage MC getting a whole-ass sidequest with Elin, while other perks get little to no "worthwhile" content in compensation.

Bookworm is good for extended Lia scenes + a few more + Vampire GF; Warrior for more sidechicks nobody cares about.

If every class had a defined role (if we knew that Warrior corresponded to certain LIs, like Mage does for Elin), then it would a better use of the system and there would be far fewer complaints.

I'm not advocating that the developer actually do this, but I don't think it would take too much time at all. Just figure out a way that the MC can suddenly achieve the other two capabilities, do that for all three classes and put it at the beginning of the next release. It's really just three routines that need to be developed.

Or it could be just one Deus ex machina routine.

ZAP! Mage, you are now also a fighter and a bookworm! Now do that for the other two classes and it's done. See, easy! :ROFLMAO:

Okay, how about THIS.

Elis has the MOTHER of all hybrid attacks. That can meanwhile, give him some more information and lore from his ancestor/goddess again. And when he comes out of it. He's fucking "unlocked" his brain or some shit. He's tapped into the matrix or some alternate Elis's from the fucking multiverse. And BOOM!

He now has 400 IQ and would put Sherlock Holmes to shame. (BOOKWORM DONE) Has realised his innate magic ability from his blood, and can tap into that shit. (MAGE DONE) And now has knowledge directly from The Red Emperor beamed into his head, on how to be a badass and not a weak pussy bitch. (WARRIOR DONE)

Easy peasy...

Elis is the protagonist of the story, the world revolves around him, it would be natural for him to be good at everything, boring, but also natural, it would change almost nothing in the story if Elis was reasonably good at everything related to these classes.

He could very well have learned how to punch, how to use a sword, the basics of magic (he has a talent for magic, why not learn the basics?), know history and languages, at least the languages of his parents and teachers, like Elvish, anyway, it could have been done, and it would make more sense than him being incapable of it.

I'd like to be a mage in this game, but the protagonist is a useless mage and his teacher didn't bother to teach him seriously, it's a complete waste to be a mage in this game.

My best gameplay was with the Bookworm class, at least the protagonist isn't completely clueless like the mage and the warrior, and has a powerful protector to fight for him when he needs it.
Warrior works, but it's a magical world, I don't find warrior interesting.

Yeah it was a disappointment in some degree, I thought mc would able to use magic in fights. casting thunder or fire some shit. mage should be more dangerous than warrior in a fight and effective.

Because during his exile, he was really lazy and playful, even a little self-destructive. Maybe we should give him some time, his first priority right now is not to learn combat skills.

Whats the significance of this? I tried searching this thread and its plagued by irrelevant mentions of white blood.

Also, any tips for most/best content regarding Queen and Elin? I dont mind metagaming or spoilers at all btw.

The impact of white blood is still unclear, but considering we consume it several times throughout the game, I don't think it's a good thing.
As for Elin: She has the most unique content on the Mage path. There are a couple of unique scenes on the Warrior path. There's nothing unique about the Bookworm. In my opinion, it's better to follow the path of love with her, because, it's more romantic and fits into the story better.
The Queen doesn't have any unique content, except for one moment I encountered on the bookworm's path You know the message Alaina sent her. The Path of Corruption currently has the most content for her. This may change in the future, but if you want more spicy content with her, go there.

Ah no I dont mean for the paths, Ive already chosen Mage; I was asking about content regarding stuff that wasn't covered by the walkthrough (0.5+), meaning the content regarding
