LM only fixes bugs when a new version is released (they're usually included in it). No hotfixes. I don't know if this applies to the English translation, most likely not. Mage is better simply because you get more unique content than other paths. The last time any unique class interactions happened was in the Western 3 updates ago, after that, that's all. At least with Bookworm, I haven't played the last two as a warrior, so I can't speak for him.

The ups are really just related to Elin, if she's your favorite. Since it plays into the whole twin thing and being her portal buddy. Maybe Alaina too, if she's also your thing. But beyond getting more in-depth visions when meditating with Alaina. That's about it. The perk specific content isn't all that interesting otherwise.
