Wrong! She could simply disappear and cut the ties. She could run with MC anywhere, anytime. She could have fun simply rehearsing magic and leaving the palace for the home of her magik professor = theat hottie is a badass in her own right.
She's generally disinterested in politics but is unwillingly a political figure herself
she does NOT have a political agenda or some objective
MC is disappered by the king, so the hows and whys might explain why the other two mind abled heiresses did not dissapear as well is testament that both girls, Cass and Ellie, they are political pawns by simply hanging around.
Remember the latest season of house of the dragon - simply existing whilke being a royal child means you can get murdered or dissapeared just on a whim by the maniacal Demon nut case idiot or the captain of the guard shag master buffoon.
Staying in the house of the dragon season 2 plot line comparison, I watched it being reviewed by a good logical thinking debate specialist, who arguesd it stagnated hard. It made Damon delirious and all the excitement was spent having The queen that never was and the acting king getting either killed or seriously mauled by dragons. Nobody else and neither the plot made much of a step forward, because dragons are overpowered and whatever human houses fight for the blacks or the greens, it is the dragons who tilt the tides, so the whole plot of looking for allies and bending them knees gets pointless by the episode.
This game is quite there with the stagnation we got in the first season of house of the dragon: a quite absent king doing nothing to stave the war between his successors - Damon ended up straight up beheading one of his nephews, in the throne room, in front of the king - nothing like starting outright war inside your own family - yet absolutely nothing came of it, at all.
Here we are in this game - coup or not, we are still held hostage buy the very restrained MC, the very absentminded Queen and the, basically, lost in translation, girls of royal blood who cannot make moves that are meaningful for this game or plot or story to save their lives or their relationships.
We are staying in the comparison with the season two of house of the dragon where the queens are stagnant to the point of sidelining themselves out of the plot entirely.
it's completely obvious that it's grinding
MC relationship with Mom and Elin is questionable when they we already know both engage sexual activity and willing to do it with MC but so far scene with them is pretty lame
I'm plenty happy with a slow burn but make sure that fire doesn't fizzle out, not the easiest thing to accomplish I suppose.
I think there's a difference between a "slow burn" and stagnating
The tower scene is also to far from them, probably dev trying to capture the character and all beautifull scenery around them ???
I agree LM would make this game better by showing more of the action.
House of the dragons sells massively and is quite literally the only medieval fantasy worth watching on TV right now, so this game mirroring some of that show is perfectly aligned with trying to stay relevant in todays fantasy genre.
As for me, gonna play straight from the start bookworm style, to be sure to
not be a rapist and also have a vampire sweetheart as my sometimes guardian angel.
