You have a point that the narrative seems to be about a shift in the power dynamics, instead of the horny guy chasing the woman that we are used to seeing its now the horny woman after the guy and on that front the game has an interesting foundation.

What people are complaining about its not that the mc its gatekeeping the sex to cause shift in the power dynamics, its that he's actively avoiding sexual encounters even the ones that would benefit his standing with the other woman, he's not coming across as someone that its aware of his importance for the people of the town (a lot of horny woman) he instead appears to be wary of having sex with them.

I think this is where I find some people's complaints to be unfounded. I went back and restarted the game just to refresh myself with how it was initially set up. Blue mentions that she "accidently" overcooked the GigaChad when she brought him out of suspended animation, but felt like it wasn't a loss because "he had no personality." But Red complains that their last specimen (our MC) was a "weak-looking fool." They inform the MC about what happened to him and mention that they've augmented his body to help him complete his task. Then he goes to meet Sally.

This is what I was getting at in some of my earlier posts about this point. He generally hasn't had good experiences with women. Plus, he is largely inexperienced with women.

To me, it is unrealistic to expect him to go from a weakling who has had negative experiences with women to someone who is immediately able to bed multiple women simply because they are throwing themselves at him. Guys who have undergone a physical/financial/status change that resulted in them no longer being invisible to women but actively pursued by them don't just immediately acclimate. The residual insecure self-image needs to be eliminated and replaced with self-confidence. That doesn't happen in short order and is most likely the character arc the dev is building.

Again, he's not running away from sexual encounters per se. He's slept with five women as of this update. But they have been the low-hanging fruit. He didn't need to expend much, if any, effort to get laid. For varying reasons such as scientific curiosity, religious devotion, or unbridled thirst, these women have offered themselves up with no roadblocks. But he's mostly had to be led through these encounters.

You can see his lack of experience in his earlier trysts. He was treated like a scientific specimen in an experiment when he fucked Hanako, had to be coached by Aphrodite in order to fuck Kelcey, and was essentially guilted by Sister Anne into banging Sister Gina. He has started showing more initiative with Sister Emma and Casey, but again they were throwing themselves at him.

What is clear is that after 13 updates, he seems to be settling into his role and building relationships with some of the women. Despite the cries of blue balls from the masses, I think this is important in the context of the story. He has a lot of enemies he will need to win over if he is going to achieve his goal. He won't do that simply by being a fuckboy. He is going to have to prove himself to be a decent, self-confident man who can pass any shit test the more toxic women throw at him. That will win him allies, that will build his reputation, and that will ultimately be what will make the toxic women, as intensely social creatures, succumb to him.

I stated where I found that point. It was the point where he goes from defending himself as not gay, to then wondering how to fuck her hard. Though that point you showed was the start of where my opinion lay as you stopped the sentence before we got to the point of defending himself as not gay. Why is it that he demands she be the one to come onto him? He saw she was heavily flirting with him and... he wants her to come up to him and say take me stud muffin? Uhhh, dude, she did? Did she need to have it notarized and signed in triplicate? Or were you afraid the mother who is just as into him would object to him saying, "Hey, if you want to go beyond flirting, my house is available." I know there's such a thing as wanting clear consent, but dude you can ask, it doesn't have to be her.

But no, the thing that makes me question whether he has actually had sex is that he's not like "Shit, what did Mary like when she wanted me to be more dominant." She starts with, "Hard, do whatever you want. Just make sure I can't walk after." "Alright. (Ok how to go about that. I'm guessing it's not just stick it in and thrust hard. I like how there seems to be a vast difference in how some of the women are approaching him. The differences range from drooling slut-mode to flirty interest to indifference to cautiousness to irrational hatred. It's a nice spectrum of reactions that I would expect from such a large cast of characters.

Even better, the MC seems to be written in a measured way. He isn't a pervy fuckwad or some ridiculous GigaChad or some pathetic simp. He generally seems to be a slightly insecure guy who has good intentions but is out of his depth. That's the perfect sort of characterization with which to start the game because it gives him room to grow and have a character arc.



I definitely agree with you here. This is the inverted power dynamic I mentioned before. I wish the dev would play up this aspect and really make some of the women squirm. My hope is that we will see that down the line as he continues to bed the women who have treated him decently while denying the toxic bitches the holy dick while condemning them to further carpet-munching or jilling-off should they ever come around for some reason.

I mean, in case it's not clear from the fact that I watch this thread like a hawk, saying that the release will come any hour now, I do like this game. But at the same time, I'm not above taking a lark at the fact that the dev seems to have recognized the discontent at stuff like the flashback and the pace of the sex. My main disappointment was that I wanted to get to the court. Because what is going to happen in a court where he can't be killed and imprisonment seems unlikely when the jailers actively desire him to commit crimes like the one he is being accused of? But I will totally roast certain elements, like the reticence that doesn't feel intentional, or the problem that his dick is so comically huge that it feels like they are actively trying to make a comedy game that you can jerk off to.

You make a lot of fair points and I probably misunderstood your intent. I responded to another post and dropped some receipts from the game in which we are told that the MC is not a virgin, but still very inexperienced with women and seems to be rather wary of them. That's why the encounter with Casey seemed in character for him. He needs the women to drive the hook-ups at the moment because he doesn't really know what the fuck he's doing. The fact he is using porn as a reference is not only funny but pretty accurate (much to the disappointment of women in the real world.)

I mean, I can appreciate to some extent going to a well worn trope of following the main character back to his former residence as a man, but I need some other bit to it. Whether it's Taffy Tales having that odd Cthulhu subplot or the darker stuff with dream demons like Bright Lord, Bloody Passion and the original big hit Dreams of Desire, I think that the trope serves its purpose, that being to reintroduce people to the setting, so it's easy to write as he reexamines his life. Now of course, it needs to be a basis and there are a ton of new games every month that are basically, "College son incest simulator 5325".

I appreciate a good roast and performed more than a few back when I was reviewing games, but I've tried to tread more lightly since getting the dev tag (as well as the experience of being the roastee!)

But I honestly like this game unironically for the simple fact that it's brought a lot of unusual ideas to the table. The quasi-religion built up around the MC is probably my favorite aspect among many. I know people want to fap, but I really don't mind waiting since there is so much other subject matter in the game that is entertaining me in the meantime.

I think the talk of the MC basically being a virgin is a fairer assessment because he essentially is one. He's only been with one girl and seems rather clueless when it comes to seduction, so that is a charge I really couldn't argue against. Most everybody registers that as a complaint, but as long as the dev has an ending in mind, I'm content to see where he takes it. If, by the end of the game, the MC ends up as His Holiness, Pope MC I of the Church of the GigaChad and baptizes all 40 women with his Holy Semen, then I will consider my patience rewarded.

Will the overseers break them piece by piece or will they eventually have a change of heart by the story's progression? Either path interests me, and the antagonism will result in something I enjoy either way.

Great concept with the aliens and the modified anatomies. Bad implementation in my opinion. All those women want to jump his bones but he's just too nice of a guy?? Will he have to 'court' each and everyone one before he has sex with them? Sorry if I'm coming off salty but I just spent a lot of time waiting for something to happen and I was sadly disappointed. I think not introducing every single character at once would have went a long way in breaking up the monotony and boredom. I hope this feedback helps. I agree. The MC is a really, really hard to understand guy. Especially given that its made crystal clear at the start that he's not in any sort of relationship and is seemingly not very happy with his life overall. Its one thing for him to not want to have sex with women who are unwilling or he feels are being forced into the situation by the aliens....but the fact that he shoots down and seems mostly uninterested in the rest is hard to swallow. Its a weird take for ANY kind of story/media, but for a sex game, it seems really counterproductive.

Dev has 26 patrons. Mathematically, dev only has around 13 or less 7.50 subscribers, assuming that people are at the tier marks. So the chance of a premature leak prior to planned release is low. That said, release is imminent with the free release in the next day or two. Thus my lurking.

Hmm, this update is mostly meh. Technically he's having sex with a woman he's had sex with I think (in the first version) and the other woman in a threesome. But a lot of the talk is based around snide comments and 'jokes'. We do get forward plot progress, but it's just an arraignment as compared to the trial. Sort of wish dev would just get on with it. This feels like a reverse Waifu academy. Instead of a promise of "better" scenes that mostly look the same or new gameplay gimmicks, the dev seems interested in moving the main plot slowly forward and mostly just bantering with the girls until days last 5 updates, and those who think this game will eventually kick into gear lose interest completely. Instead of increasing the time to milk patrons, he's increasing the fluff, the filler stuff, like an anime that's caught up to the manga. Which is not great in my opinion, as the characters are a bit samey, a bit too cardboardy to really bask in the relationships like that would require.
So meh. Lot of sex for an update, but at the end he basically is back in neutral waiting three days that I swear might take a year of updates.
