I'm really enjoying the story more than I thought I would... even when most of the lewd scenes are a bit underwhelming. There are only a small handful of scenes where I wished we actually had choices, like the whole Emma-Felecia relationship. While I was eventually ok with the MC helping out Allison and Diane,. I had the same apprehension the MC had at being used as just a stand in for a sex-toy.
Additionally, given the lack of emotions/feelings between the MC and the couple, I was not really interested in seeing him finally acquiesce to Diane's request but I will say I was impressed how that scene went down, and it was still pretty hot in spite of him being ultimately blue balled. At the time, I wasn't really invested in Allison or Diane since they are in a relationship...and, well, gay, so the idea of losing out on 2 possible LIs, while disappointing was understandable.
In contrast, the Emma/Felecia plotline really did frustrate me. While I appreciate how open minded the MC is in many respects, I did not like the backwards logic of Emma insisting she is NOT a lesbian, and therefore NOT in love with her best friend, who actually is....both gay and in love with her. So Emma's brilliant idea is to compromise and in order to keep Felecia from leaving the church hurt, jealous and miserable, she gives her what she wants most and agrees to be in a relationship with her... on the condition Felecia stays in the church and allows herself to be fucked by the MC??
What kind of idiotic, simple-minded and naive option is this?! I'm not quite sure I understand how in any setting other than porn-logic, an otherwise confirmed lesbian is willing to get fucked by A MAN just so she can emotionally blackmail her best friend and object of her affection and desire into being in a farce of a relationship with her. Silly me, I actually liked Emma and the connection she had with the MC and thought she could eventually develop into a main LI, but the moronic idea that if she willingly gives herself to Felecia... and Felecia in turn gives herself to the MC, then by that logic Emma can keep the MC as her lover and also keep her best friend from leaving.
Again...why? Honestly, I can't believe the MC is actually ok with this arrangement and did not even try to point out to Felecia if she is actually ok forcing her best friend to be in a fake relationship with her. I guess in Emma's simple mind, she probably equates giving Felecia sex like they already have been engaging in for some time as a way to give Felecia the façade of actually being in a relationship with her, however it still lacks the emotional connection of actually being in love with that person, and not just loving them... as a friend.
