I don't quite understand. To my memory there was an older version of this. It was darker, had more readability, had less bugs, and generally had a lot of content in it (though a lot of it was incomplete). Was the older bad somehow?

You probably mean the old UE4 version. To put it diplomatically... "personnel changes" led to the downfall of the original version.

What happens after surviving 12 nights? how to avoid the red fox? I can only see her getting closer, but I don't know what I should do

Also, it happens that the cat girl doesn't let me use the stress toy, or close the doors, just when someone is at the window. Do I have any option?

Content wise how does the new game compare to the old build? Does it have the same content but "better"(cause the change of engine) or it started another game from scratch and is catching up to the old build?

It's...messy. VERY messy.

In short: Some animations from the tapes got cut while some others are brand new and got added. Jankyness and awkwardness is still present, but overall has more content than older builds. Still rough around the edges as I mentioned, and some older animations may not come back (due to how unfinished they were). Gameplay-wise, it has become more robust but at the same time, way harder (at least to me, can't beat Night 5). The shop and customization have been nuked. Oh yeah, there's VAs now too.

I wouldn't call it "better" outright, moreso "altered" and/or "modified" as a side effect from starting again. The positive side of this is that this build was, well, built off some content from the older build so as to have some leverage and a direction on where to take it (at least I assume). The downside is waiting for some of the features from the older build (like the nightclub, some tapes, the customization and shop mechanic, etc). Maybe they could add those back, maybe not. Heck, they might be modified. We just have to wait.

I'd say, each have their pros and cons, but it also boils down to what animations you like the most. That's really all the H-content you might be able to enjoy (other than the game overs, but they're still undercooked).

You have to constantly repair everything (power switch, robot, goo valve).
just figured it out, it's annoying having to spazztically check camera's and repair everything. then doors cost sanity for some reason, so the people get you while you are either busy repairing or regaining sanity.

Well. This new Unity version is a bit of a challenge. Quite often you have to quickly decide what to do, what is critically important and what can wait. Use the doors only if someone is at the window (if doors, its safe) or if Misty is upset - too much use of the plush toy in a short time.
The original UE4 version was more relaxing and more about atmosphere, tension. Now it's a real battlefield.:)

That reminds me. How many games are there with this series at this time? I am aware of Honeymoon and Lustful Nights.

On that note, any other games of this types out there? Such as Night Shift at Fazclaire's Nightclub

Lustful Nights (main game), First Nights (prequel), Honeymoon (RenPy spin-off). As for general FNAF parodies, I don't want to count it.. Or do you mean 3D only?

Much appreciated. 3d would be preferred, but I am happy to look at 2d ones as well. Worst case scenario, it's something I am not interested at after looking at it for a few minutes, and move on with life.

There aren't many of them in playable stage. Night Shift, of course the well-known Fap Nights at Frenni's Night Club. Cumrooms is a decent game (though not FNAF, but the models are also from Cryptia). From 2D - Fuck Nights at Fremy's (rather older version 0.1.4), A Fortnight at Frenni Fazclaire's is a decent FNAF-based visual novel.

Man, this is like the 5th version of this game I have in my In Heat folder. I cant understand the timeline of this project for shit. The newer builds look worse than the older builds. The 0.7.5 in the image is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT AND HAS MORE CONTENT THAN THE 0.804. I DONT GET IT

Dunno what version the first 2 you have are exactly, but rough story is 0.7.5 was the last release of the original unreal 4 version, before they wanted to switch to unreal 5 due to extreme spaghetti code. Switch to unreal 5 (0.804) didn’t go well, as a rebel dev kinda took over and mucked things up, so they refreshed team, chucked outa final unreal version (first nights), and went with unity instead. Current Version is unity.

Honeymoon is completely different game, sorta spin off, same characters, different gameplay.

God damn is the difficulty ridiculous... The little shark thing is pretty much an instaloss.
And I really can't get the lever puzzle. How are you supposed to press those lights?
