Really enjoyed this. All the girls are great so far. MC is well done on each route, not an edgelord or overly nice to the point of stupidity. Sex scenes are great (really nice job with the audio changing depending on the camera position, added a lot to the scenes)

Far too early to tell, but I'm kinda worried the NTRS scenes are going to be treated like non-canon side content and nothing about them will really be acknowledged once the scene is over. I do hope they have some dialogue and story implications. Along with the "mc_like_sharing/real thrill" also influencing them. Wouldn't make or break the game for me at all, because I'd play it even if it didn't have sharing content, but it'd be nice to see.

Hey, if you play the dev's other game, AlwaysFan, you will see that there the NTS has a clear impact, both in terms of dialogue, character development and, even, in the different endings. I think it will be treated the same here

So, finally got to play trough all of it :D really like it so far, the sharing scene is properly hardcore nad not half baked, great <3 :D And well, you can feel the development in comparison to how AlwaysFans start is, feels much better :D
If I have to critique something... the PoV kissing scenes... they are SO horribly awkward... just make them third person, its not like you don't wanna show the MC, he is seen all the time... and those weird full frontal tongue out faces are just meh xD

As the one above me said, I doubt that with view on the other game. Should also get a good amount of sharing content, considering that the fanbase probably likes that already, even if it isn't as much a focus as in the last game.

Is it me or is the premise taking inspiration from Final Fantasy XVI? Not saying that's a bad thing of course, just curious if the dev is a fan/likes it.

I'll put my thoughts in spoilers just in case for people that haven't played FFXVI.

I wonder if the MC will end up getting revered because he's able to use multiple schools of magic. Maybe when everyone sees him duel the Duchess they'll spread the word. Assuming the duel even happens of course.

This is also giving me slight Game of Thrones vibes, with how much cruelty seems to be there. I wonder if anything bad can happen to any of our characters. I've not played the dev's previous game so I don't know how dark it can get.

Speaking of which, Episode 1 felt huge, are all updates gonna be this big? I assume this is also going to take around 2 years to complete judging by the creation date of the previous game's thread and the creation of this one.

Now something else entirely, why does this game 19 5-star reviews but only 11 pages? The previous game also has 90 4+ star reviews but less than 100 pages. Do people just don't like discussing this? The discord ain't that big either, and the devs patreon feel like it would've had much more people signed up to it considering the quality of this.

Hey, for your first question, I've never played FFXVI and I only follow the Final Fantasy universe from far, far away, so no it's not coming from there. My inspiration comes more from Warhammer 40k, notably the story of the Eldar and Slaanesh, mixed with a bit of Mesopotamian mythology and some of the anime I've consumed over the past few years :).

Oh. Maybe FFXVI got inspired from 40k then. I wouldn't know because that universe is so daunting, it feels overwhelming even just by thinking about getting into it.

It has indeed served as inspiration for many works. Blizzard, for example, pumped 50% of its lore from there to create Starcraft. And yes, it's clear that the franchise is truly colossal, similar to Tolkien, but for those who love science fiction, it's a fascinating universe that's well worth a look.

And funny thing is WH both fantasy and 40k are inspired by works of Herbert, Tolkien and Moorcock Games workshop basically copied lot of things from the latter.

Well then we all can agree that most modern science fiction and fantasy comes from some of the few great ones in the first half of the 20th century and even those took inspiration of some lesser know (on our own time, probably were more popular and generational back then) folktales and also very well known mythology . Every creator and artist take inspiration from what came before them, same with science and other areas hehe.

Tolkien is a great example of mixing the bible (he was a fervent catholic to say the least  you can see in Silmarillion plenty of similarities with Genesis from the bible) and fantasy folktales mostly from Celts and Nords if not mistaken with the terms, sorry if I am and someone correct me.
Science fiction in the first half of 20th century also followed many visions and theories (proven and unproven) that were worked on at that point in time, the great leap of modern science.

no one likes a smartass and i was asking because i like it its very well done and a good story so far
You could have taken the time to look over AtemX's patreon and see the time spent between update on his previous game "AlwaysFan" or for announcements being made working on another game until first release was done. You presumably did none of those and went with the lazy path of plain asking. I can't say whether you even searched for the term "update" in this thread as there was one update progress post leaked where you could also gather some info on and extrapolate from that.

Please mods have mercy on me. I know mentioning/referencing other games is not really in compliance with the rules but I do it with the reasoning of making an educated guess on update frequencies on this game based on the update frequencies of AtemX's previous game.

AlwaysFan v0.6 Hyper Fan Tier release was on the 24th Dec 2023
AlwaysFan v1.0 Hyper Fan Tier release was on the 31st Jul 2024
Inanna announcement 9th Aug
Inanna v0.1 Hyper Fan Tier release was on 20th Dec 2024

So, you see between the last two updates of the previous masterpiece it took seven (7) months. Here you can surmise the update might have taken longer due to epilogue being fleshed out with a lot of sequential pathing.
Now, between Inanna announcement and v0.1 release it took five (5) months.
You can also guess that Inanna v0.1 had a lot pre-work going before being announced, thinking of general setting, plot and characters.

I would make somewhat of a grounded prediction for the dev taking around 5-7 months for each update, which are all relatively big chunks of content addressing different audiences (think of love route/sub route for LIs, going down NTR/NTS, etc.). At the end you'll always get some bits here and there about update progress and can see how the dev is doing in general.

PS: I root for you and can't wait to play further into your new project, AtemX

There isn't many references on how much time will be needed for each update to appear for a few reasons. First this was the first release of this particular game, second it seems to me that comparing with the first game, AlwaysFan, not really sure I saw that many content in each update but I started playing it on the 2nd half of its development, and third this prologue/chapter 1/Episode 1 whatever you want to call it is very long with plenty of hours of content specially if you savor it slowly like I did haha.

What I can say is in between the last release of AlwaysFan and first of Inanna Revenge, looking at the release dates in the F95 threads there is a gap of nearly 5 months but I don't know how much work there was already done on Inanna Revenge before AlwaysFan was completed, for sure AtemX had at least some planning already done, no idea.

Then we have the AlwaysFan references, it is a game with plenty of content in each of the 3 routes (Love/Submissive/NTR) and it was done with don't know how many main updates (not counting bugfixes) in few more than 2 years and 4 months. So one thing I'm really sure, AtemX delivers and with each update delivers with better quality than the one before (there will be a point where the improvement probably won't be so noticeable but its there because we are always learning thru life). Again for me and I played plenty of first releases this was without any doubt the best first release I played so far.

One final note, I want AtemX to have fun making their games and the way they want to tell the story but I also don't want AtemX to push themselves too hard and burn out by too much work or for the pressure a few people that have no idea how much work being a solo developer entails keep doing it in the wrong way. Also quality takes time, and sometimes even creativity gets burned out and sometimes everyone that work and push themselves too hard need a break, specially if they already are not having so much fun doing what they love.

Edit : Just correcting some typos and when I see that my grammar is horrible, bare with me, Portuguese is my main language and English the second even though I have over 20 years of practice writing in English, not so much speaking it hahahaha.

Don't worry about it. Sometimes I too have the urge to be a smart-ass. It's a mental disease, pity us! :HideThePain:

The other poster above have also given you great scientific answers to your question, but I'm just going to say that AtemX is a gourmet chef amongst countless burger-flippers on this site, with a proven track record. What I'm saying is that we can have confidence in the developer, even if they spend an unknown or just too much time on a particular update for some unforeseeable reason. "When it's done", like the person above said, but I don't think we even want it any earlier.

I'm glad we're here to follow the progress together though. :)

you gada teach them "new"guys to take some initiative and try to find some info out for themselves.

maybe not many people like the "smart" ass ,but i'm pretty sure nobody likes the "next update when? (i can't be bothered to look myself)" guy with the obvious exception off content

I guess they just caught me in a good mood , I had 3 choices (look at me trying to make a non kinetical forum game :ROFLMAO:), I could put more fuel on the situation and we would all lose that way even though I think they could make the same conclusion I did with a bit of research effort, Ignore the situation completely and let them fight/vent with each other in the worst way possible and we already had some people trying to stir up shit here because of a story relevant dialogue of Carmen that they think it is "the end of the world" hehe, or I could do what I did and everyone wins, even me that I also try to improve my argumentative English :p.
