I have a message for the dev, and I hope someone can pass it along.
Your game is really good and has the potential to become one of the greats. Your updates are big enough that you could easily split them and release smaller ones more frequently, say, every 2 months instead of every 6.
I guarantee that with this kind of schedule, you'd get a lot more Patreons on board.
So you are saying that games that became greats use that business model? You are simply wrong, I could give you plenty of examples but that would be go against the rules, just look at my signature and you will see that most of them made with HS (except one, but that one focus more on storytelling and small episodes and not so much on perfecting it visually) or with Daz/Blender with 1 exception where they prefer to make smaller episodes and doesn't have much branching what cuts a lot development time, most prefer to make updates with amount of content more and less what AtemX does and similar or even longer development time and most avoid to cut episodes in half or in thirds. And they are still great and get plenty of patreons.

For smaller Patreons, more frequent updates are always better.

Overall a good update but I have a few major gripes. Several sex scenes are gated behind being on the asshole path. I also don't like the hardcore rape scenes whether it's the NTS/or the solo one.
It seems really out of character for a high compassion MC and frankly I just find that shit gross.

Yeah I found that scene pretty brutal. Even if she doesn't deserve anything good.

Universal gallery unlocker doesn't work. Has anyone got a clue about gallery persistent data so scenes can be unlocked manually with URM?

I didn't check yet but I'll try to find a way for you to search, I also play all renpy games with URM. Brb with good news for you I hope.

Herates I think I found a way to search the variables of the scenes in the gallery (untested), not sure if AtemX spelled it wrong to make it harder for us haha but search "Galery" I'll attach a screenshot bellow from my save at the end of episode 1, still didn't started playing the update.
screenshot0002.png

Edit: Just tested it and won't work without a variable get defined first (will give a non defined error), probably will only work once you get right after the scene where the variable is defined. Not sure if you understand what I'm saying, simply if you finish the update almost sure you can unlock by this method even if you didn't unlock them while playing.

For example at the save at the end of episode 1 I can change the "galery" variable of all the scenes from episode 1, I can lock them and then unlock at will because the variable that is called is already defined, but because I still didn't played the episode 2 when I try to unlock episode 2 scenes always give a undefined error.

Wording ''Galery'' is most likely is a simple mistake. I understand the code structure, thank you for your efforts. It seems easy enough to unlock with a finished save as long as variables are defined.

Almost done with the update btw, Sylvia is the best girl

hehe all are the best girls for me haha but yeah Sylvia is a sweetie. I tried to unlock them and 3 of the episode 2 scenes unlock, the other 2 maybe is related with the fact that I play with NTS off, maybe they are NTS? or maybe because it is characters that didn't appear in the game yet at the end of episode 1, no idea and say it is not defined and forces me to rollback and they get all again False haha.

That sounds right. I think there were 2 this time that were NTS related.

Is AF really that good?
I'm a Harem die hard and have seen many trench wars on f95 up close, if someone needs to be called a cuck, I'm there to do it.

But the harem route of AF is, in my opinion, brilliant and one of the best games on this side. If you have problems with the main LI that's understandable, but she is adorable. A later LI has her problems, but all in all, it's bordering on a perfect Harem game.

But it will probably never get the spotlight it deserves, because of its dark underbelly, truly a self-inflicted loss.

Played a little bit but I'm not far in the game. I'm curious, will most possible LI have a romance and a "corruption" path like in Alwaysfan? If I remember right, some girls could only get picked as romance option through.

Anyway, enjoy guys

Haven't finished the update yet.

I can say that it's incredibly high quality, though.

I want to voice out an annoyance I have with the game though - the point thresholds for certain options are very frustrating. Not all of them, sure, but enough for it to be a big annoyance.

I'm fully onboard with having some locked options regarding specific character routes (there's one that apparently needs insanely high points with Sylvia, which lends itself to a "solo-Sylvia" playthrough or something close to it, and that's perfectly fine in my book).

But choices regarding the "karma system" are fucking annoying. Because they feel like I can't activate some of options with an "organic" run, where throughout the game I pick the options that yield dialogs that I feel are most aligned with what/how I feel in the presented given context. For this update the slavehouse choice for negotiating the maid was one such case, but I believe there was something similar in the previous release as well. It requires 50(!!) points of a given route to unlock.

In practice, this means I need to pick options I'd normally not pick just to reach that arbitrary point threshold, with very little wiggle room for deviations.

I'll use my own run as an example - I'm mostly leaning towards compassionate points, but occasionally the "ruthless" dialog option is by far the one I align with the most (like the option that gets presented regarded how we see and want the Duchy to be like. I liked the "ruthless" option (that wasn't even ruthless at all in that particular case, just very pragmatic) a lot more).

But while going through my playthrough like that, occasionally not picking the compassionate option made me fall short of the 50 points for that one choice in the event under the spoiler line above. I was just a couple of points short.

It meant I had to reload an older save and pick options I didn't want to pick, just for the sake of something that I honestly feel should've been unlocked due to the way I've been playing.

Maybe it's just a matter of readjusting the point thresholds - I get the idea behind them and support them up to a point, but it can feel very frustrating and "unfair" depending on the balancing of them. And I'd rather not have to use cheats in order to experience the game in a way I feel is "balanced" regarding the moral choices.

Now, I know I can be a bit verbose when going into detail and explaining my grievances so I want to end on a positive note - I haven't finished the update yet (in fact I alt + tabbed the game after redoing my choices to unlock the 50 point one and am on that screen as I write this), but can absolutely attest to the quality of the game. It is incredible.

I haven't ran into any major roadblocks like that though maybe we play differently. I have a save where I'm full compassion, trying to love everyone, improve life for slaves, and make a few ruthless choices as possible. Another save where I'm opposite, full ruthless, turning the main LIs submissive, breaking Regina, etc.

I guess I see the discount on Emilia being a reward for playing a certain way versus being wishy washy, trying to gain a point here, lose a point there.

My main gripe is how the gallery is tied to your save. If I want to see certain scenes, I need to load the save I unlocked it on. I'd prefer a main gallery where I can see all scenes as long as I opened them once during a playthrough.

scared about that swinging tag.......
Its an optional content, and when I say optional, completely avoidable and NOT one of those thats still happening but you cant see it kind. I also wish NTS wasnt in and allocated that time to other things in the game, but its the devs niche. His older game had it as well, optional.
