at this point im as infested in the story as in the nsfw content... if updates keep coming in this quality this game will be on the first side of "sorted by quality" in no time, up there with the big ones like OIAL

Just played through the scene with the princess. What the actual fuck man.
I'm all for revenge, but this is some psychotic shit. Not only was the scene very messed up, it has issues with the narrative which I'll go over in just a bit. But the one thing that I detested the most was the fact that there's no alternative scene for different routes, only for scumbag.
As for the narrative problems with the scene: the MC "justifies" his torture + rape by saying she's a lying bitch and he wouldn't believe a word out of her mouth anyway. Problem here is that she has a slave seal and is incapable of lying to him if he so wishes. Second problem is that while she indeed did many shitty things and absolutely deserves to be punished, she's not the one who perpetrates the acts nor is she the one being cruel. She's not even the one behind these happenings, the one that is responsible for the experiments. She's not the mastermind - her father is, with Lucius being her father's tool of choice.
She allows it to happen though, which, again, needs to be punished for sure, but what was implemented was a massive psychotic episode, no room for any nuance.
Look, one of the greatest evils that exist is the evil that becomes "banal". Banalization of evil - when people don't move/act to stop horrible acts, and passively condone/allow horrible shit to go down without doing anything about it, especially if they hold power - usually under the pretense of "I'm just following orders" or "I didn't have a choice" or "It's not my business" or "It doesn't affect me".
If the princess was indeed a psychotic freak, then... fine. I wouldn't have liked the scene but in some messed up way I feel it could be seen as justified. But she isn't - her father and Lucius are.
While the arena scene was getting wrapped up, the first thing on my mind was Lucius. As soon as the guards came around to "greet the new lord" I thought MC would ask them to seek out and capture Lucius immediately. But instead MC only thought about him, what, 2 days after?
Anyhow, the princess only tells you of her motivations if you choose to listen to her. But even if you'd want to go the torture route, the justification of "you're lying and I don't believe you" is ridiculously weak and makes the MC as bad as, if not worse than she is.
Holy shit, what a let down. And the scene is pretty hot too - the animations, pose variations, and camera angles. But that context killed not only the scene, but a good portion of the narrative for me. I absolutely want revenge on her, but this ain't it.
My overall rating of the game dropped significantly after this. In one of my previous posts I mentioned how the karma system is frustrating, yeah? Well, this is exactly the kind of scene that should be locked behind 55+ ruthlessness points. More because of the narrative context (the MC would have to be a scumbag consistently to get that far and do the things he does to her) than because of the content of the scene itself.
If not locked behind a wall of scumbag points, then I'd expect, at least, some variations in the text, dialog and actions based off how many points you have.
And the lack of alternative scene for the other route is just a twisting of the knife.

i secound that, mc can be a ruthless hardass on the selfish route but this scene rly seemed like he spontaneously decided to lay of every last bit of empathy he has and goes full on psycho mode.. this scene feels rly of exspecially if you played "friendly" route first and know

I was surprised the torture scene wasn't gated behind being ruthless or taking the vengeance flag. When my 99% compassionate MC could just casually throw 20 points in the bin and do something so out of character I questioned if it was a bug.
It's like someone watched Redo of Healer and got the idea for the scene.
Redo of healer isn't exactly great either imo.
That said, in that work the ppl the MC tortures and go full psycho-sadist on are all absolute irredeemable scumbags. If the princess was one as well then... okay. I'd give it a begrudging pass (because for my playthrough, those actions in that manner are completely out of character and I had to go back and choose the friend route because the alternative was just WAY off).
I wish we had questioned her about the village just like we questioned about Andrew. We already know she was behind it, but maybe she would've said that someone (Lucius probably) had assured her that no one would die on account of the river poisoning (or the opposite, that there were risks and she went through with it anyway, which would make her a scumbag the likes of which the MC from redo of healer would go full sadist on and could at least begin to justify this game's MC to get rough with her).
Not sure what else to expect from the game from here on out. This was such an ice-cold bucket of water thrown in where before I was getting genuinely excited to play the game despite it's many redflag-esques contents for me...
Well, I went back to go the full guud boi route that always finishes last (what is this, real life?) and I hope this'll blow over. My expectations have plummeted now though, little room for nuance apparently. Just go fully into one way or the other.

Well i didn't expect that game to be as good as it is. It is not a super mature, original and complex writing but it's very fun, fluid, well made and pleasant to play, the girls are very nice, hot and lovable. And the overall visual, animations and sound quality is absolutely stunning.
Was not expecting the ruthless path to be that... ruthless, weirdly enough. Probably because of the general tone, vibe and look of the game at first. But holy cow that torture rape scene with the princess was uber hot. And the whole concept of breaking the princess mind to turn her into a broken slut is very appealing and hot.
(But i kinda agree that it's weird that this event is not gated for full evil/revenge playthrough, it feel out of place when you don't play like a total cold mofo/psycho)
A bit sad that on the nice guy path the game "cockblock" us twice tho (dogo girl and regina). Kinda feel like the players are punished for playing nice, hopefully this path will be rewarded later with extra compared to the ruthless one.

i agree i've followed alwaysfan since the beginning and now after playing this game it feels like the amy game and eva type of difference, it's always good when dev actually get better and can deliver higher quality with experience, kudo to the dev this game is a gem

The update and its quality were both great and the length was extremely satisfying. I wasn't expecting MC to realize his revenge so soon or that the scenes would've been this brutal considering his supposed aversion to killing (which I really hope he gets past really soon) and that it required no ruthless points, but they were all well made. I'm glad to see many different female models, especially those of other races and I'm totally rooting for a fox girl as a LI in the future.
I usually mute voices with AVNs that feature them, but here it was so good, especially Kayane's purrs and nyahs and Regina's cries during the revenge scenes really do enhance it by a lot. Animations also got better than episode 1 and the models remain top notch.
What I really disliked was that the lactation content wasn't made optional since it's definitely not one of my kinks and I don't find it particularly pleasing to the eyes. Not making fetishes such as these optional may drive some people away (I'll just speed through since the rest of the game is excellent, but the point still stands). Another thing is that Emilia looks really weird to me and I think it comes down to her face and eyes. I don't really mind pale, or in this case albino girls, but she just looks a bit... off? She's really similar to Manon, but I actually find Manon cute.

Yes this game gonna need to reward quite a lot nice playthroughs in the future otherwise it's gonna feel a bit unbalanced and frustrating to play, like it is already starting to be^^

This game deserves a lot of support. And Sylvia is perfect, the girl is amazing.

Afterall, there is actually a king above them, and it really was a Lucius who actually tortured us. Enslaving as it is was enough for her, i think. Still, this option is solid. Liked. Ruthless scum-route approved.
Also, i agree with assessment of non-optional_milk-content and excessive_tits-content above. Whole branch is not my cup. Sylvia is peak in that department for me.

Bland guy randomly gets into another world, then of course is motivated by "revenge" against someone who literally saved his life; classic isekai-edgelord-y. That's enough to give him Special Snowflake powers because of course. World building done with info dumps, again of course (illustrated with "AI CG" if that bothers someone). And of course slavery comes with a build in excuse for the protagonist to instantly gain one himself, and that's not fucked up or traumatizing for anyone but just "eh, nice perks"; not something worth solving. Just vaguely being nice is naturally enough to earn undying loyalty too because that's how that works.
That probably sounds much more critical than it is; after all, there's basically an infinite amount of light novels/manga/anime that come exactly with the same ingredients these days, perfectly accepted into mainstream pop culture, and unlike that garbage, this is just a self-made porn game and doesn't pretend it's something else. But the lack of originality is still disappointing. You'd think if you are entirely inspired by those you might add a bit of a unique twist or whatever to the formula ^^#

Thing is the vast majority of isekai type stories would just involve dying, starving, living in poverty etc. Not particularly stories anyone wants to read.
Slice of life isekai may work ok if the LI is the one isekai'd and you take her in and welcome her to your monotonous plebian lifestyle.
