I could do without the RPG elements too but it's not that bad in this one.

I'm not looking for a gameplay when I "play" (or rather read in this case) a Visual Novel, choices is all I want.

Guys we've been over this, you have to accept that RPG elements will be present in the game, but they are designed to be aesthetic elements rather than mechanical ones, that's simply the vision AtemX has and enjoys. You will likely never be kept from content in game just because you didn't master any of the RPG elements, so don't worry and go with the flow.
