Uh, rating does not equal popularity. Check the views man, 3.4 million versus 44.9 million. Honestly not sure about that weighted rating either, 1200 versus 465 and only a .1 difference.
Don't get me wrong though, I'm a fan of Caribdis' stuff, and Eternum's good shit.

I'm not sure thread views equals popularity either. I've viewed the BADik thread at least three times, but I've never downloaded nor played the game. I've asked site admins about what factors in to "Weighted rating", but they've declined to give me an answer. It would seem that there are more factors than just the average of the ratings and a scaling factor based on number of ratings.
In any case, I've amended my comment about Eternum being the most popular game since at least two BADik fans have taken exception with that assertion. "Most popular" as a term is too poorly defined to get into an argument about it.

i will coment before pllaying the actual game i love eternum but i don like ppl saying this game is a copy or that kind of statement bcs if we are true to the reality eternum take many parts form "ready pkayer one" so beofre coment on similarities or which is better ,even if have the arguments or stoytelling there are diferent ,i can see that even before playing it so pls ppl respect the work of the devs and if you dont like it at least restrain to leave copycat notes ,there is alot of games that gace similarities to others and is almost impossible to create something that doesnt have a glimp or another game.

To be fair though, that render reminded me of Eternum and that was the biggest reason why I decided to give this game a shot (And of course how good the girls looked ). So the person who made this thread really knows what hes doing

Side note: That only means that Eternum is the highest rated game in f95, you can even go on and say best game in f95 if you really wanted. But the most popular in f95 is without a doubt Being a Dik (44.9M views)

It's not a clone. This one has a different set of circumstances that lead to him living in a house full of girls.
Eternum: MC, Orion, arranged to live with old friends when he won a special scholarship to an elite HS.
Invicta: MC, Roman, was given a place to live in his new elite gaming clan's house right before he is to start college.
Not only that, there are also these differences:
Eternum: His goofy sidekick, Chang, has to live with a different host family.
Invicta: His goofy sidekick, Chad/Chester, lives in the clan house.
Eternum: MC is foreshadowed to be The One because he has 100% compatibility.
Invicta: MC is foreshadowed to be The One because he has an undefined Archetype.
Eternum: Cute small female BFF is brunette and named Annie.
Invicta: Cute small female BFF is blondish and named Lexi.
Eternum: The tatted tsundere is blonde/white haired and named Alex
Invicta: The tatted tsundere is pink haired and named Rae
Eternum: The busty blonde is named Penelope
Invicta: The busty blonde is named Holly

Looks decent although there's too little content to come to a clear conclusion.
I'd also prefer if instead of it being "0,01a" it'd be called "Teaser", as it's more indicative of the product. As it currently is it may give out the wrong impression that this is the amount of content one is to expect every letter or number update (like 0,01b or 0,02a).
Regardless, looking forward to more updates, and good luck with your development.

No, I was not saying it's not as good as Eternum. The game seems pretty good, but it's pretty early to give a real rating. I echo the sentiment that I welcome a high-quality game in the same genre and setting as Eternum. I sarcastically described differences in the game as a form of verbal irony to point out the similarities. If you took my comments as criticism, you'd be right, but it would be incorrect to read my scrutiny as disparaging. I certainly didn't resort to attacks ad hominem toward the developers, nor did I deride or dismiss the game.

Can the folks behind honey select care about male characters a tiny bit? HS2 males don't really look as shit as hs1 ones but is there only 1 preset for them still? Btw nice work making default female models look 99 percent better than other hs2 games.

Regarding the similarities with Eternum, imo they are rather superficial (so far): there were tons of media that take place in a virtual world before. Might change of course and the similarities might increase, but right now a VR player making it big in a virtual world is older than even "Ready Player One"... thinking about all those ancient movies like Tron, The Thirteenth Floor or even Matrix. Not to mention tons of anime. So while Eternum is absolutely amazing, it certainly didn't come up with the VR world idea.

Anyway, great quality & nice setup for the story, looking forward to see more of this!
