Hi, absolutely love this game. Fantastic mechanics, and a second play-through makes it even more fun! Really hope you update it soon, I would really like to bimbofy the entire city!

It's not been abandoned apparently, it's just the site lists it as abandoned because progress to write updates has been slow.

How about the remake? Has it evolved since the first time it was posted or will it stay a magnificient proof of concept?
This was one of my favourite games. Too bad its not really progressing in years. Maybe a community effort should be made?

I am currently doing a rewrite in Sugarcube2. With higher res images and more video content. Not making major changes to the actual game. I'm up to month 4 but hesitant to release it without pCaines permission. As mentioned previously im doing it as a hobby getting to know how to program a little better with something a little entertaining, as such it will take me a while to fully finish it. If pCaine allows me to, I'll upload when finished.

I would gladly join some of fellow enthusiasts if you need help with debugging and testing.

Well I'm currently on month 5. Progress is relatively slow. As I'm working at the same time and then coding in the evenings. I'm going to proof read everything and use grammarly to make sure everything is decent. I won't be able to release it without permission though.
Question for you guys though. I've replaced some of the GIFs with Webms... They contain the porn studio on the video does that bother you or do you wish it wasn't there ?

I think there is a concern about game size, and if the whole download file size will reach several Gb it may keep some players away (like Adam and Gaia or Realms of Lust for example).
However, i personally do not care neither about quality (it is about the same anyway), or size.

It shouldn't be that much bigger. The webm's are only around 5-30s each. I am updating the images a bit, under no illusion that the final product will be obviously slightly bigger to download than the original, but time moves on and hd photos are kind of expected now, gifs just look a little old and they're a bit messy now I prefer animated PNG or webm's that are nearly the same size but look a lot better. So at present I've replaced all the gifs I've seen so far
It comes down to personal preference though doesn't it. If I do release it eventually it's never going to please everyone and as a remake it's very unlikely to beat the first one.
I think media format is not really a concern here. It may change if a lot of people will use it on mobile.
However, it is possible to surpass the original if narrative will go further. We all want to find out what has happened next, and what consequences our hard choices had.

It's abandonned. Games that have long windows between releases don't go for over 2 years without a word. We don't slap abandoned on things lightly and we do attempt to reach out to a dev before slapping the tag on.
