This game actually crystalized something super important to game design in my mind. If you have a game where the person has literally zero agency, if no choices are available at all that impact the outcome.... it's not a game. It's a story. In this case a fucking boring story. And if you stop advancement of the story by making the player figure out which part of the screen to click with which object then you have a fucking annoying boring story.
Good god, at least Spaced Out added a couple tiny minigames to a linear story. And the linear story that is there supposedly has a fail state. Marginally better game serviced by an infinitely better story.
Well on one of the comment on a public post was asking why they didn't released it yet they answered :
"As i said every release. We can take you what we have now. With bugs and not translated words. Not finished text and without pictures. If you want to play buggy and unfinished version then go on. We can release, but we have already put into the game that was supposed to get it soon in next release, so just be patient and please wait."
Why give people a release date in the first place if you're going to act like this when you don't actually release it in time ? It simply makes them look bad in the eyes of their patreons...
