Translated with Chat GPT:
Hello!
It's time for a regular development update for Innocent Witches. We're very close to the actual release of 0.10B and we want to share the current status and our plan going forward. Let's get started!
First, the art preview. This time it's one of the minor scenes that occurs during one of the missions in 0.10B.
Now, the current status of 0.10B:
The first preliminary version is ready and our testers are currently testing it. The goal of this stage is to find as many game-breaking bugs as possible and fix them before the public release.
Both chapters 5 and 6 can be played from start to finish.
There are a couple of artworks that still need to be finished and, therefore, require a few more days. Once they are finished, we will insert them as quickly as possible and the release will be ready.
A couple of key notes about our future plan:
We will have at least two more testing rounds before the main release. The first round will happen once we have fixed all the identified bugs from the initial tests we are running now. The second round will be done in collaboration with the artists once they finish all the art and verify how it is used in the game. They may notice some inconsistencies and make some minor corrections, but generally, all the issues are resolved within one or two days after testing. Finally, there will be a pre-release test for $20 patrons on Discord, so if you're one of them, pay attention to the channels there. This test will start when all the art is inserted so that users can see everything for themselves.
After all the art is inserted and all the testing is finished, we will release 0.10B to $5+ patrons.
Next, we will work on a first content patch for 0.10B. It will focus on adding a proper transition between Acts 1 and 2, along with fixes for any potential bugs that are reported for the initial release of 0.10B. This patch will also include additional content that we didn't have enough time to include in the main release, such as an updated minigame for Daphne, a couple of Easter egg encounters, and more.
After that, we will work on the second content patch for 0.10B, which will include the modified ending of Chapter 1 of Act 2. This will bring the waifu back during the events at the end of the chapter. Additionally, Chapter 2 of Act 2 will change the focus on the events that are set in stone during Act 1.
Finally, we will focus on 0.11A, which will continue the story of Act 2 in Chapter 3.
As mentioned before, the updated minigames for Daphne and Hermione will not be included in this initial release of 0.10B as they require a few more days to implement and test, and we don't want to delay the release just for that. However, they will be added in the first content patch, so don't worry.
So, here's a brief summary: 0.10B is almost ready, and we just need to draw some missing art and insert it into the game. Then run several testing cycles and fix any bugs before the game is released into the wild.
Let's end this brief news post with a round of voting. In the previous post, we asked for your opinion on text interactions with characters using AI to respond. For example, having a conversation with your waifu about something. Here are the results of that vote:
As we can see, there is a great interest in this type of feature, so we will continue experimenting with it and hopefully find something cool for you to play with.
This time, we would like to know what you think about AI-based voice-overs (VO). It's no secret that the current state of this technology is not perfect, but it can achieve quite solid results if the AI model is trained enough and properly. Of course, including it throughout the entire game at once will be quite a challenge, so we are experimenting only with a part: full-screen scenes. Here are a couple of options: it's possible to add VO for the whole scene, including dialogues, or we can try to focus only on certain sounds, like reactions to touches or orgasms. Or do you think the technology is not mature enough and it will be a waste of time? Let us know by voting or commenting below!
- AI-based voice-overs sound like a cool feature, especially if I can toggle it. The scenes will feel more alive!
- Well, it sounds interesting in theory, but it probably won't work very well in practice. I'll wait for a prototype to see how it works first.
- The idea is good, but AI won't help in this case. For this task, it's better to hire real person(s) and record the required sounds.
- Nah, I don't think it will fit well in the game. I don't want the characters to have voice-overs in Innocent Witches.
- I don't care / I want to see the results.
And with this, we conclude this brief news update. 0.10B is almost there and getting closer as we speak. Thank you for your support and patience. <3
Peace ✌
