LOL, these comments have nothing to do with what I just wrote except the last sentence. You just get annoyed at any criticism and start hitting random buttons. I just explained your "strategy" or maybe the lack of confidence. Most likely explanation is that you refrain from main characters and focus on new bs characters that nobody cares because you think if you give enough content for main girls, your audience will be satisfied and be done with the game or maybe they won't be satisfied at all, considering the quality drop of characters in scenes. So you continue with endless bs character content and hold on to the "carrot" as long as you can. Also hide the slow performance of creating scenes under the disguise of " it's a different game, with story, with depth and so on". Come on. You fool enough people, you do you but don't get annoyed when a few of us call it out.

The game has free public releases (and not like a freemium game where u then need to pay) & Patreon supporters do so voluntarily. The reason people complain of milking is because they voluntarily show their earnings?

Personally I am not a patreon supporter on this one as I tend to support smaller projects that are getting underway (once they have shown its not a cut & run). Patreon supporters are free to stop at any time, its their choice how they spend their money.

This game is more Hogwarts focused than Hermione focused, so its more expansive in terms of the characters. If you checkout Witch Trainer Silver it also has slow updates and often focuses on side characters (given the game was entirely about hermione) but again I like that game, when its ready for a release they release something.

Is the dev time slow - yes, but if i am getting a free dinner the chef can take their time.

My big complaint? The game is extremely mod unfriendly outside of altering images. If they are going to take huge gaps for updates at least let people make their own fun in those gaps.

Edit: Second complaint, Daphne never does the things in the cover art (if you use it as art to promote your game then probably should have a storyline like that in there).

Идет 2024 год, я слежу за этой игрой с года 2017. Безусловно если сравнить версию 2017 года и 2024 то это как небо и земля, но все же игра в разработке 8 лет и у нас только версия 0.11? Разработчики лутают 300к$ в год и пишут что это всего лишь хобби? Серьезно? Сколько там разрабатывали акт 2? 3-4 года? И все ради того что бы записать большую часть сцен в старый сюжет и начать сначала? Это величайший скам в мире H-игр. Причем у вас есть все что нужно разрабу, терпеливая фанбаза, стартовый хайп, финансы. Но что вы делаете? Кучу сцен и сюжета с уродливой служанкой? Сколько там на месте стоят главные сюжетные линии? ( А их же сожгли и переписывают заново).
Полый рыцарь на кикстартере собрал 60к$ и был сделан за 3-4 года, а тут не могут сделать визуальную новеллу с бюджетами 300к$ в год. При этом оправдываясь хобби и тем что тут люди любят "подрочить а не читать наш великолепный сюжет". Это не sadcrab, это уже какой то yanderedev. Простите конечно за сравнение с яндередевом, но он хотя бы бездарь что хочет игру сделать, а тут нету желания ее впринципе выпустить. Игра буквально разрабатывается по принципу "выпускаем пустую обнову и дальше лутаем бабки". Что вам нужно что бы игру закончить? Пока вы с такими темпами игру разрабатываете TES 6 и несколько ее переизданий выйдут лол.
Короче говоря спустя 7 лет я убедился что это не разработка хорошей игры, а банальная дойка фанатов на время и деньги. И пока на эту тему не будет большого скандала как с yandere simulator ничего не изменится.

I want to enjoy this game so much I love the art and it actually tries to pull of a story, like an actual story instead of just an excuse for porn! Ok well it is just an excuse for porn but they try damnit!

The problem is, as it almost always is, the MC. I just can't stand Marcus. Rarely have I seen an MC that makes the worst possible choices literally all the time. Not a single thing he does makes sense for anyone past puberty, seriously how did he graduate school let alone go into medicine? Last I checked you need to be smart for that and Marcus doesn't have 2 brain cells to rub together. Pretty much every student in the school is more competent than him and watching him fumble around trying to do anything is like watching mister magoo except Marcus isn't even funny!

Yes I know I know the bumbling idiot is supposed to be funny to make the story less serious and lighthearted but he isn't! Nothing he does is charming or funny or endearing it's just cringe and I want to slap the stupid out of him everytime he talks. The only girl that should remotely like him is Daphne and that's only because he would be so easy to manipulate so it would be less her liking him and more her getting a new puppet. Fuck Marcus, he should just go to the lake and let the mermaid take him for good, game over end of story. The entire school and magical world would be better off with him dead and gone.

Either go the Witch Trainer route and make something actually funny and sexy with minimal plot or remove the attempts at humor and make Marcus actually likeable by making him the bare minimum of competent. That way we can actually care about him as we sit through hours and hours of story. I mean seriously ask yourself this, if Marcus took the place of Harry Potter in the original HP story would any of you get past the first chapter? Rhetorical question the answer is no. Making us suffer through his bullshit just to get some decent lewds is not worth the headache it takes to get there.
