By all means share in this thread, that way I can also get some more references for getting inspirations from. If not for this remake, maybe for a next game ;).
I enjoy bestiality and all kinds of Monster sex, because I could watch regular porn if I wanted vanilla stuff. The further from humanoid-looking it is, the better. Girls engaging with animals or Monsters willingly is my jam. I am not a fan of scenes where a girl is raped and she cries and doesnt really enjoy it. Consent is a huge Plus for me. The more she enjoys sex with the creatures, the better.

I'd say I have tried every bestiality (uncensored) game on this site, but I still check the bestiality tag on a regular basis looking for new games.
There are many bestiality games that look promising, but are censored. This is such a waste IMO. I would gladly like to play games like Mushikarishi, the Bestiality Princess or Zoo Keeper Mission 1+2, but the censoreship is such a turnoff.

Let me say this, im extremely happy that this games is getting a remake and its actually quite good, but fuck combat, fuck it all the way, i just for the love of god cannot fight enemies well, i just cant understand the system (or the icons) Also if i remember correctly you were not supposed to always face the same number of enemies you could encounter way less [correct me if i am wrong, played that game several years ago]

SO if anyone is willing to explain to me how the combat works without me needing 10+ bandages before fighting 5 roaches, it would be great. (I have some gear already)

The Combat improve between each release and so the drop rate for parts after defeat. Make sure you make some saves from time to time, since you can start there after losing in battles. Have fun!

One of the most important aspects of making a game, is having a fun gameplay loop or at least, a functional game loop. This "combat" is obviously against the player and it is always against lot of enemies. What's the point of this and any hentai scene if the game isn't a game? At least give the player to do 2 actions in a turn or parry an attack(not every attack)using a QTE or at least anything to make combat fair. Don't have the boring barebones turn based combat where the lone player is always at a disadvantage. Can't beat 5 enemies when your LIFE bar is constantly critical and using an item also uses up your turn.
Might as well be a greedy mobile game to waste all your eternity in it.
It is also insulting to everyone(both developer and player) to have a skip button that doesn't skip. You first make the fundamentals of a house and then you make the house AND THEN, you beautify it(Hentai scenes). Might as well not have combat if it doesn't work

The combat is indeed not balanced well enough yet I recognize that. In terms of the action rules, take a look at the "About" section in the title screen and let me know if it helps. I know there is missing information that I intend to rectify on the next versions, but it might already give some lights on what to do.

Regarding the different party size, I think you're mistaken. Although you are not the first to think that, however neither in my experience nor in the game's data I see any mention or logic for variable enemy group size. Having said this, it is not a bad idea, and could be a way to improve the game's balance as some people have already suggested the same :). I might try this for version 0.85 and 0.90 as in version 0.81 (translation versions) there will be already some minor adjustments to stats and healing amounts.

One option I see could be simply reducing the number of enemies in the Forests' groups by 1 or 2, to make the first area more simple and allow an easier buildup of better equipment. This was already suggested as well.

Another options would be to have dynamic party sizes chosen randomly, allowing the player to pick fights. In this case, maybe the reward amount could be better given the number of enemies on the group.

There was also a suggestion to have enemies skip turns based on chance. Maybe the odds of skipping turns could be bigger for greater parties and smaller against less enemies.

Please let me know which options sound more appealing or if you have other suggestions as well.

I understand your fury against the combat system. Ironically it is the most different thing from the original game in the whole remake, but it seems to be the most criticized component, and with reason :(. I guess I haven't mastered limited turn based systems yet and I have a lot to learn.

I don't know about 2 actions per turn, as given the nature of the system it would over complicate the calculation of intercepting actions, but what do you think of the suggestions above? Or if you have additional ideas you think could improve the combat, let me know.

As a side note, I'm sorry but I did not understand the skip button issue, it there a bug and it is not skipping?

Most games I mentioned arnt turn based. Most RPG Maker games that focus on insects are made by Asians and thus censored. Do you plan to create a new game from scratch?

If you need some tipps or help with the games I mentioned, feel free to contact me. And for your new game, I'd gladly brainstorm some ideas if you want.

I don't know much about turn based combat. However l see the problem is this.: Too many enemies that do too much, leaving you no room at all. Your damage is too low and there isn't an attack that can hit all enemies.
So the problem is clearly that are too enemies. Seriously 5? At the start of the game?
To me, there are no fundamentals (for combat) here.
New weapons and armor are impossible to be acquired because you spam find and escape against any encounter, so finding resources is redundant. What? You're going to play for 1 hour, gathering everything and the fighting the enemy? What's the point of combat if you're going to wait after you get the upgrades( if they can help as well).
l say, if you can't do 2 or more actions per turn then you must lower the enemy number.
Or better, when you get attacked, you have a choice to block or dodge. You can spend MP to block better or dodge better (higher chance and higher damage mitigation/reduced damage taken) or just block normally with fair chance.
You must give something to the player as this "combat" doesn't give anything. That's why l meant no fundamentals, because you need to begin from scratch (about combat)
l am no game designer, want to be. l have played lot of games, turn based combat isn't my forte.
l remember Persona 3, the key there was to know the weaknesses of the enemy so you can have extra turns and AOE attacks so you can easily avoid being damaged.
This barebones combat l see on F95 (most rpg games)just has : Who has higher damage and healing. Can't explain it well, more like feel it.
Turn based combat like that needs more creativity, something that a player can take advantage. Maybe if he knows how to fight well, he can avoid lot of damage or dodge attacks or do extreme damage.
Something that player can take part of.
Even Undertale is a good example, not the exact replica of that but the concept of it.
To be honest, having a combat mini game within a game( like Undertale did) really gives depth into it If a player can dodge, counter attack after dodge, gives the experience a grace.
Reminds me of Warhammer Darktide(Not a 2D game)

I personally totally disagree with the constant crying in this thread about combat difficulty. I like it being tough at a new save but I also like Eroism’s new additions & roadmap to combat. In the original once you get lust gear most battles become trivial. Thanks for the updates Eroism keep it up

Na, dont feel bad. Lets embrace it. The more people are into insects and lewd animal stuff, the more games about it will be made.

If you are talking about other insect games, I could name you my favs. Dunno if Eroism would be cool about other games being mentioned in his Thread, so just PM me instead.

I gave Syahatas bad day another try because of your post and damn, i wish there was more of it. I felt bad when i finished it because it was so good.
It's a bit of an oldie, but check out Parasite in City if you haven't seen it before. Similar game that's what started me down this rabbit hole. Anthophobia is also similar gameplay wise, but it's not very uh, buggy, compared to the other two. That said, the latter has much more polished gameplay similar to Syahata's Bad Day while the former has really simplistic level design.

Getting back on topic, for me a good chunk of the combat difficulty in this game comes from not knowing what's going on. I know that the game uses some light graphics and sound effects to depict what's happening in combat. I've managed to memorize it over the time, but without a combat log or something similar it takes more effort to learn what exactly is happening. There's also weird edge cases, like can I parry two heavy attacks at once? Can I get parried twice? Etc. Every time I tell myself I'll figure these things out I end up dedicating halfall of my brain cells to the hand in my pants instead.

As a side note, I've played around with the engine's image import features and discovered lossy texture compression, which seems to work well enough with the JPEG scene images. Given this accidental find fueled by someone asking if I couldn't optimize the image size, the next version will reduce in size from 1.3 Gbs to around 325 Mbs (near 4 times as small) with very little quality loss on my tests.
Glad you managed to figure something out. Another thing I was thinking of toying with was using something like difference masking to convert poses (scenes) to a base keyframe + deltas. Given how many of the images tend to be a bit of wiggling I would have expected some savings, but I'm not sure if how well that would have held up with upscaling and file format differences. Getting it down to a quarter of the original size from built in Godot tools is pretty sweet.

2. You are too damn stupid to have any basic gear like a weapon, basic armor, you have 10 bandages
3. Animation is low quality almost looks like her top body is separated from her bottom half and does not flow well. You know the type where you got a still image and just the one part moves.
4. Animation is not a flowing scene you have to click for each damn next scene

Game Play: 2/5
Sound: 2/5
Art: 2/5

That summarizes how stupid the game is. No damn adventurer in their right mind is going to go to a rescue with no damn basic gear! Now add to that their is no tutorial on combat you have to figure out what attack defeats what than add to that you are fucking way outnumbered from the very beginning.

Oh and killing them beasts that take a while to kill did not even give any damn pelt or other material to craft a basic whip.
