I don't think the renders/graphics are bad, maybe I'm wrong but I always saw it like an art choice from the dev probably for 2 reasons, the first Kontralta mentioned it, it allows faster updates just like for example another game that makes that kind of choice like Superhuman, both this games probably made with different graphic programs/art styles are much more story focused than on the porn and high visuals side of it. Second reason maybe it is because it gives a different feel and makes it unique like its a mix of hand drawing with computer "drawing" a bit like it came from a comic book, feels more raw but I wouldn't say they are bad.
