the game folder consists of a "save" subfolder. Just delete the default save and change the name of the 100% save to the name of the default save.

As far as I can tell, the machine uses the base game but bypasses the launcher window, sending you to straight to the title screen. It will use all the normal save stuff. As always back up the save folder before attempting.

It's sad but true. Those of us that enjoy having quality are in the minority¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I've given up on stuff like this and just ignore the MTL "Translators" which sucks because once in a blue moon they may randomly upload a game that's in perfectly readable English that's done by someone that does in fact know actual Japanese and English.

Quality translations cost money, you have the full game script at \GameData\Plugins\Translation\en\Text\_AutoGeneratedTranslations.txt, if you are not satisfied with the automatic translation nor with the translation made by fans you are free to hire the services of a professional translator.
