Progress Update - Episode 7
Let me apologize first but here is a little bit of ranting...
Finished writing one of the more important parts of the story.
Like I said last week, I tried to shorten it and write it as simple as possible. And I've cut a lot! I'm not happy with it at all, but also not in the mood to completely rewrite it at this point. Maybe I change a little once I code this part.
This will be rewritten in the future for sure. I really need to make a lot of time for this to get this right.
I think I failed to put in all the emotions the characters feel in that part. It's not just one thing, but multiple things that clash together. And it doesn't really show, it feels a bit flat. There needs to be much more feelings showing. Rage/Pain/Anticipation/Emotional/Kindness/Lust ...
In the original story, this part is way further away, but since I release episodic, I understand why people want to know some things rather sooner than later, so they can make appropriate decisions.
Also, this is where this story and the original take a huge turn and become completely different. (Of course, I had to change lots of things already due to having much more characters).
I think I won't get away with the original take. And since I couldn't bring myself to keep Alexis a one time thing or even keep Nikki's accident in the story, it literally breaks my heart thinking what actually would happen at this point!
So, I have a hard time changing it accordingly and still have that emotional impact it needs to have.

At this moment I'm working on the last 3 scenes of this update. A smaller, a medium length and a longer one (depending on routes chosen). 2 of those are split routes and you won't be able to see both in 1 playthrough.
Renders aren't going as quick as I'd like, but still on schedule, I think... (know more in about a week).
I will also say this already and I will repeat this on release. When given choices, trust your instincts. I might have done something "mean".

THIS!!! The reason why I like this novel: the emotional drama. Please destroy my heart over, fix it and destroy it all over again.. make me feel physically the anxiety right in the middle of my chest..
I disagree with conceding on this. Decisions that we make in life many times are without all the relevant information. It is more natural and makes more sense... It is particularly good for creating regret: "If only I have done this, she would still be alive!!"
Anyway, I know I am a drama queen but I seriously think that the more drama the novel brings the better and if Nyx feels she needs to rewrite I find that totally understandable. I want her actual vision on the story.
By the way, Niki is looking precious as always.

yes she can and not she is not a whore as if anyone says she as never been with more then 10 different people while living and working in a busy touristic center its actually believable!
and even if she is promiscuous or asked for a favor or 2 in sexual trades with the bank loaner she as not cheated!
so she is not believable as a whore and certainly not a slut being able to go trough a separation and loss of a child and still maintain a business shows quite an emotional growth maturity and personal responsibility!
Dude not every woman that told you no are whores... remember if its one girlfriend its her if its most of your girlfriends then its probably you!
Erin yes Emily was just a dumb kid who got involved with an even dumber spoiled rich brat who went to daddy and mommy crying and they told him it was fixed!

I don't know what game you played, but there is absolutely no evidence in Intertwined that Erynn ever whored around.I'd like to know if we'll find out why Erin is whoring, I want to know the real reason behind it, what kind of a childhood friend would put her in this situation

These Mondays are dreadful.
Whenever I read a new weekly report from Nyx, I start worrying about Lexi and Nikki. Given the amount of extra work they give Nyx to keep reworking the story to include those goddesses, I feel that Nyx would get rid of them in a moment when we are not alert.
The bodies would never be found..

Maybe we have a different definition here in Germany, but because Erynn accompanies someone who then touches her butt, that certainly doesn't make her a whore / slut / whatever.
And we have no evidence of any sexual activity between Erynn and her clients. Nyx just wants to fool us, otherwise Erynn would not have been integrated into the game as an LI at all, because thankfully it doesn't contain the unspeakable three letters.

Have you ever thought about the possibility that there are also escorts who do not have sex with their clients, but still find it repulsive? She is probably forced to do so, hence the tears.
