Alexis will break up with you anyway even if you decide to be just a friend to Layla. And it doesn't matter in this case whether you tell her honestly about what you actually are with Layla, or leave some things out about your true relationship with Layla. It's just that Lexi then changes her wording of the reason for the breakup. In this case, it's only possible to make a choice only in favor of Layla with breaking up with Alexis on the phone later. Otherwise, you lose both of them as your potential girlfriends. Although then Elena calms crying Layla down by saying that she still has a chance since the MC is no longer in a relationship with Alexis.
You can maintain a relationship with Alexis, but you have to avoid kissing Layla or doing any sort of PDA.
